I have dropped from 10NL FR back down to 5NL a couple of times now and can't understand whats going on. I play on FTP. I've read that there aren't many differences between these stakes, so I reckon it could be psychological. From your personal experiences, can you tell me if this is true? If you've moved up through these stakes, did you drop down many times, or did you whizz past it and I'm a loser?
lol
im guessing that it is psychological...the players are prob slightly better but defo not too much..maybe youre a loser too..;)
if you wanna check if its psychological or not then check your BB/100 for nl5...if its good then its just psychological...if its low then you've got big leaks in your game that needs to be fixed...
Im not so sure it just physchological. From my experience, at NL10 there seems to be a lot more nits.
The difference is minimal, really. There have been times when I just breezed through NL5, there have been times I was stuck there for two months. You could just have been unlucky on NL10, but don't forget that you're still a bad player with lots of leaks. Accepting that is the first step to improving. If you keep working on your game you should beat NL10 without too many problems as it's already full of worse players than you anyway.
