KK fold on river

I was think and even the equilab told me I was winning 70% of the time but my gut told me to fold this hand after he flat calls both flop and turn, then he leads out on the river which was very confusing. Did he put me on KJ making my straight, and he had 99 for FH?

Hi sokoi,

First of all I want to point out that when Equilab says 70% equity, it would be wise to put the proof also in your post so I can know against what range you have 70% equity

Furthermore Poker is more a game of Logic rather than Instinct/Gut feeling.

In this particular hand I think you bet too small on the Turn but it is a minor mistake. now the River he leads out suddenly and I think you mostly have to fold here because I don't see something random betting suddenly that you have beat

3) JQ(s)
4) air. (Here I include PP's like 77 or 88)

If you have stats that shows his turn/river aggro it could make it easyer to decide which he has.

Gerv is 100% correct, bet should be $0.70 on turn.

Aside from that it was obvious you beat almost nothing, you had to fold.

I cant see why bet more on the turn than 50% pot size. If he is on the OESD he already made mistake calling flop, and 50% turn bet gives him really bad odds. So givin way ahead/way behind scenario that bet looks ok, keeps the pot smaller, and minimizes losses.
