Not any two but you can re-steal the buttons that steal very much with looser range.Steal less from sb,because youre out of position. And try sometimes bluff 4bets when you see that someone 3bets lighter.

Has no one got a clue why he is losing so often? i'm tending to break even with mss and am hoping to build from this point too. Do you review your hh after every session? where are most of your leaks? my leaks tend to be coming from me overplaying top pairs, oesd's and trash, I'm not saying the same about your game im just interested to know that if I plug those leaks will I still be breaking even!!!

sure sure sure. So why is your non showdown winnings so low? I don't think you're restealing often and don't play anything spewy.

I think you're a nit. I can see on my graph what change does it make when I play tight like let's say I would in tournament. My Non Showdown winnings goes down the toilet.

Postflop might be some problems too but I suck preflop to say the least.. :)

open up the preflop range? I have been thinking about doing this but have been worried that I should not stray too much from the charts.....I'm a nit :P

I don't even try to review them. My sessions use to be 7,000 hands long :) I got lucky that I have good memory and can think hands through while I am playing as well as I am not. On top of that I've started some PA stuff which helps a lot. Trying those advanced moves in RUSH are great. Coz you can really get grasp of them in no time playing 1800 hands/hour

I know you're nit. That's what I was saying from the start.

Do you play more than one table doing this pokerstrategy stuff, rite?

What I used to do was to cut down to one table and try all those spewy 3bets, 4bets, stealing from CO, BU, SB..

Once I started doing this my nonshowdown winnings went up.

Say you're nit and play against me when I am in one table mode. And you play BSS or MSS for that matter. You open-raise by the chart, I raise you with my wide range from Dealer or with my own range and you usualy going to fold there.. And because my range is wider than yours you'll be giving money away without seeing the flop.

I am not sure if this does make sense.. I am not in mood to educate you as I've had to find myself what will work for me. Even though I am still working on it and reevaluating it. What was fine yesterday won't work for me tomorrow.

Be honest to yourself. That way you can learn the game. Work on it. Charts and nit charts are good. But how much money are you going to make when your opponents are the same nits? Rush poker is BTW full of guys from pokerstrategy. You can pawn them all nite all day once you figure out who they are and how to get them ;)

I'm playing NL25 FR Rush and I think you guys are looking at that chart too much and not focusing on your opponent enough. Just look at your non-sd line..

I am almost never folding on late positions against you guys.. 90% are 3beting and folding too much

Is there a possibility to show that in HEM? Sth like $won against 10$ opponents?

I allways get crazy against you, specially when I hold Ax hand

yeah I like your type of guys. I think I am in the middle between you and those BSS I've 3bet AQ flop A33 and I put the other guy on AK. Turn Q so we shipped and I was happy to do that. Just to see he has A3 in his hand. After 3bet and OOP. I had to say to myself. Well played. Only crazy volume I put in and other crazier hands I got that day prevented me from posting this extra amazing hand _evil:

well. Don't take my advices as constant. I am learning and this is the first thing I've spotted on my own game. It doesn't mean you have to get spewy or anything. But if you put the work into figuring out other guys you'll get lots of free monies out of troubles and get those warning signs of the other guys plays.

I believe it is always the hard work you get there that will get you there. I don't understand much those stamenent: don't play rush there is lots of nits. You can outplay the nits pretty easy. And you can pick out those that aren't nits or are otherwise dangerous. If you see on their forehead what cards they have how tough it can be to beat such game? It is different but not unbeatable.

And lastly. Non showdown winnings is just what makes this huge difference but it will be only one part of the leaks you have. Probably you know how to be a nit but otherwise if you get some tough hand you would have no idea what to do or why you do it.

I can give example from lesson that was given to me few days ago from fr. Say you have 86o and get raised preflop, you raise from button, you get called. He checks the flop you check as you miss. He bets turn you call. He bets the river and you call having absolutely nothing. Have you idea why would you do that? Believe it or not this kind of game that can make you profit.

It is always about thinking outside of the box and knowing what you're doing and why and how your opponents will react to it.

btw don't listen to advices from someone who plays ca$h games seriously only about 2 months :f_wink:

can you please explain how you may get profit from this 86o situation?

well, maybe I'm not as good in thonking outside the box as I should be but I guess the only possible way for this play to be profitable is hoping that the opponent will make a note that I'm a fish and will valuebet me later.

I think basic MSS is suitable only for loose weak tables (or at least couple of calling stations is mandatory). Rush is just not the game for MSS. My 20K hands on Nl5 looks even worse, and ,as pointed out, mostly due to non-showdon winnings.
Moreover u dont get good stats on ppl on rush, so not much help form the hud, also u rarely get to play the same person after the flop.

the problem is you play lots of ppl that play exactly the same MSS as you.. Just watch their sizes of cbets, 3bets etc.. Its nit vs nit strategy. Only way you can earn some $$$$ playing that way is either to get lucky or by playing tons, being even but lock rakeback :)

So conclusion is that Pokerstrategy teaches us to become nits... And they said TAG's...

I think pokerstrategy helps us to play a tight game and then we build from there :P
Gerv the coach recently told me in a post that we have to build our basic game from stats and maths. If we could follow charts and win big everyone would be a big winner!! the charts we are following are tight ranges that most poker tuition sites, forums and books are teaching from this point we have to bulid our game with help from the coaches.
i have been thinking about this a lot for the last few days and we are here to learn. Playing 10k or 20k worth of hands from a starting hand chart without learning to read stats, work out ranges etc is pointless!!!

I get all the idiot posters on here with their smart ass comments about how clever they are!!! what the hell are they doing here if they are so damn good!!! the comment play bss for example? what was the point in this post than to just feel superior in some way?
all you posters in this thread with your crappy " I know better than you posts" i bet not one of them can show making any real money!! show me your graphs with your 50k winnings!! and if you have got a graph showing this what the hell are you doing acting so damn superior for ?

If you dont like mss strategy and think its rubbish go and annoy someone else!!!
