[Closed] Elephant issues

Apparently i uninstalled Postgresql , and now i tried to install it again but i have to enter some password for the service account. which i dont' know .
And i can't create a new account or retrieve the password for that account -_-

you can simply uninstall postgreSQL and install it again.

Deinstalling PostgreSQL correctly

After uninstalling everything (including old service accounts) you can manually install it again. During the installation you create a new service account with a new password.

Please deinstall PostgreSQL through this manual:

1) Deinstall it through the "normal" way at first "Software" => Deinstall
2) Delete the folder "\Programs\PostgreSQL\8.3\data"
3) Delete the windows user which has been created through the system options.
4) Delete the folder of the windows user: "\Documents and settings\postgres"
5) Delete "\Documents and settings\%USER%\application data\postgresql"

3- how do i do that?

4.5- I use windows 7 , where is Documents and settings located? I don't think i have that folder , only My Documents.

I went to Users> My username>AppData , and there is no folder named postgres.

I managed to install Postgresql .

When i try to create a new database, i get this error.

I don't get it , what freaking password do i have to enter!? I tried to new password i just created when installing postgres.

Apparently it works only if i enter username postgres....

Problem solved.

I'm going to search now for some elephant tutorials , because i have no ideea how to use it
