Ye, I know, that is what I would do against unknown opponent. But have you read the reads I´ve mentioned ? He wasn´t a call station by any means.

Villain doesn't have to be a calling station to have a value river bet here.

If you think he is tricky enough to Check/Call 2 streets and Check/R the river (which you don't know yet) you could check behind the river but imo you are missing value.

Also remember that this is sb vs bb so the ranges are wider and he will call you down more. He will (and have to) call you with probably any Qx depending on your image.

The board is very dry so when he calls flop and turn his range is really much Qx.

You´re probably right. Maybe I am just result oriented cuz he had a set, but I guess you´re right. Likely missed value.

As long there are still a lot worse hands which may Call you even some PPs which do level himself and definitely worse Qx. And even if we get Check/Raised then we still have easy fold. Your bet doesn't have to be even very big.
