Villain is unknown. I only have 18 hands on him but he's 50 VIP 3 bet 28% for what it's worth.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
BB ($25)
($24.50)
UTG ($70.28)
UTG+1 ($29.79)
UTG+2 ($25.37)
Hero ($24.63)
MP2 ($69.67)
MP3 ($5.32)
CO ($26.46)

CO posts (SB) $0.12

Dealt to Hero A♥ K♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.75, fold, fold, CO raises to $1.25, fold, Hero calls $0.50

FLOP ($2.75) J♠ 3♥ J♥

CO bets $2.75, Hero folds

CO wins $2.65

I think I either should have raised or folded preflop but thought I was probably beat so raising would be a bad idea. I didn't want to fold so I called hoping to his an A or K but now I'm thinking a fold to a SB 3bet might be best against an unknown opponent. I certainly don't think I could call on the flop.

Hello Edukator99,

4betting preflop could easily be even overplay hand. Therefore I do agree with your line. While we even don't have that many hands on him, nice hand!

4betting will just kick out all weak hands and better hands may easily 5bet us and we don't even know where we stand with our hand. And at the best could get a coinflip.

Best regards.
