the AA hand reminded me of a similar hand of mine some time ago.
was playing SSS at the timethere was a raiser before me, i pushed with AA
and a guy behind me (8/8 vpip/pfr) calls instantly with 83o
he flopped a pair, and by the river he had fullhouse
i too was very suspicious about randomness of online poker after that hand,
looked like that guy knew what comes on the board...but those kind of bad beats will always happen if you play poker,
not just online...just stay cool and try to improve your game...
This reminds me of a time I was playing a home game winner takes all tournament.
I get heads up with a normal TAG type player, same as what I play against these guys. He has a 2-1 chip lead on me, blinds are huge. Can't remember exactly what they were. I had around 8-12BB. First hand I get JJ OTB, I start counting out a raise, figured WTH, All-in. Buddy thinks for about 2 seconds and calls. Flips over T6o. I say "wow, just the hand I love to see against my pocket jacks"(cursed myself). He flops two pair, turns a boat and I miss the river. Game Over, no money for me :(. I was the person dealing the cards too, not someone else.
I ask him about half an hour later. "I'm not mad or anything, just curious... Why did you call with T6?" He says "I thought you had nothing" I say "you thought T6 was better than my nothing?" replies "yes" I shrug and walk away.
Cheers to the Bad Beat

Power of position
I don't think there is rigged on any of the poker room. Maybe ur this hand are so called bad beats. Although u have 95% to win ur hand during post flop, there are still 5% to lose ur premium hands. Sometimes it happen everywhere this kind of incident, and u have to accept when u r poker-ing and stay out of tilt. Poker is not just 1 game, lose this session and forget about that. All u have to remember,u done nothing wrong in this game. Long term playing, u r still the winner with ur good play.
P/S: There is so many this kind of maniac when play micro limit, so i just avoid to play micro, try to build higher BR, and at least to join a Low Limit.
Cheers and Regards.
there are players who just never believe you are betting a good hand for value. They call thinking you will fold the river if a str or flush draw completes and they rr or push. Now and then they get lucky. It hurts deal with it or whine and bitch. Just don't cheer next time you SUCKOUT.
yeah man i just lost AA vs JJ i mean come on how stupid can he be to go all in preflop with JJ i mean thats not possible is it? how can i lose with AA it must be rigged
its 100% correct its rigged its the shuffler, and you can say what ever you want. i havent been keeping track of my hands but i am 100% sure of that i have lost minimum 6/10 times, and its problerly even closer to 8/10 with the dominant hand preflop.
ok AA i win with most of the time, but KK if im all in with that hand preflop haha its a joke how many times i lose with that hand.
AK against AQ,AJ,A10 = lose 7,8/10
i think of my self as a pretty tight player especially in the early stage of a turney, and if i push its because i have a real hand, and 8,9/10 times i push i have the dominant hand preflop.
this stats are from jokerstars, ive been playing on fulltilt they are not as bad but they closed so i went back to try jokerstars again but i dont give a shit there shuffler are rigged, ive havent been playing much and im not gonna but still i have a pretty much 100% track record in losing, the two days ive been playing there ok its only 3 hands if i remember correct last night KK vs A10 bust with my KK but that happens today i gave it a shot again AA vs A5s lost with my AA 10 min after i bust with AK vs KJ.
im on the look out for a other pokersite now where i cant play at fulltilt, so if anyone knows a good site with a shuffler that works, i would like to hear it.

Hi
Do you have those stats with the help of a statistical software. I am interested in seen the data recorded. Do you use HEM, PT3, Elephant? and what sample are you talking about?

Guys think about it. If a big pokersite gets their profit from rake, fine! But why feel satiscfied there when you can actually hire some people to play with maybe 1-10% increased odds? It would be a huge profit.
Why not let an employee join every 1 million dollar tournament and win with rigged cards? WHY NOT seriously!?
OR they don't have employes BUT they rigg the cards for us ordinary players so that when you get AA and the other guy get KK and the other guy gets AK there will be a bettingwar wich will generate sick rake.
I know you shouldn't blame on rigg everytime becouse thats just variance but all these guys you see who makes so much money on poker, they are just paid for the companies to make people think it's still possible.
Everyone is so f*king good nowadays you can't get rich from poker without sponsorship.
You ever seen a pro without the onlinepoker logo on their clothing the last couple of years?
i dont need any statistical software to see that when im all in preflop with the dominant hand i lose 7,8/10.
the only thing to do is to never push preflop buts its so hard not to do if you are sure you got the best hand.

Here explanation for that hand.
Sometimes people may have strong feeling about something will happen. (6th sense :f_cool:)
I know this because I remember few hands like that I've gone all'in with trash and hit , but it was freeroll ![]()
Anyway, I don't care whether online poker is rigged or not, as one player stated before if you can't take the heat ,don't enter the kitchen

I agree out of 10 hands you don't need a statistical software to tell you that. however I would think that you do over 50K hands. So over a small enough sample it could be just bad luck. Over a large sample, it could be just selective memory.
In any case good luck at the tables

I get pocket Aces ..... Bet 70
5 persons fold. nr 6 raises 50
I call
Flop = Q, 7, 10 all different so no flush draw possible
I rais 200 to get the pot
Re-rais = 200
I call
Turn = 4
I go all in (340 rais)
The other person calls
River = 2
I got beaten by two pair 4, 2 .......I rest my case. This is not some stupid F... with a lot of luck. This is someone who knows what's next!!!
That's when I stopped playing for RM in online poker. I like the game very much but has lost my trust in online poker. Anyone who can proof that I am wrong pls feel free to do so!!
Esplendido, you've proved a few things with your posts in this thread, but none of them have been about poker - they've been about you. For hints as to what they might be, consider:
(1) what does one single hand of poker prove? Anything other than that a certain hand of poker was dealt and a few people did some things that are often not entirely rational? Believe it or not, really stupid calls have been made, and runner runner bad beats have happened. Having said that, I bet that you made up the example with the 42o (although beginners do play as badly).
(2) how useful is it to make up statistics like "7 out of 10", without ever starting with some proper data?
(3) you lost a hand with quads? (Well, probably you didn't but just threw that in for dramatic effect). Even if you did, so what?. Of course, your decision to destroy all evidence gives any claims you make great credibility (that's irony, incidentally).

If Martingale was still alive, he would surely sue someone for blackening his name by associating it with this class of staking systems.
Characteristics:(1) High probability of being profitable, with the probability increasing with the bankroll.
(2) Larger losses than wins, with the average loss rising with the size of the bankroll.
(3) Negative EVInteresting that there are always people who stop thinking at (1).
