It's a free day in Lithuania, celebrating something, dunno what lol, but I have nothing to do so I decided to write up my progress of first half of 2011.
Long term goals review:
Post my first hand in the evaluation forums! ♦ (+)
I posted not even one but TWO hands there! ♦ Definitely need to use the forum more. I've read most of the hand evals but need to post my opinion/hands too. discussion helps a lot to learn I suppose.
Get gold, read articles, watch vids (+)
Get platinum, read article, watch vids (+)
Both gold and platinum. I like articles more cause I fell asleep like half of the time I started a video. On the whole I don't find videos a whole lot helpful expect pzhon's theoretical ones, although they're silver (wtf? they're the best material here for SNGs). Also I don't find much difference in skill of gold/platinum videos except that my favorite coach faarcyde's videos are all platinum. But still the main progress in done by analyzing the games yourself.
Buy HEM (+)
Buy SNG Wizard (+)
Buy a bigger monitor so I can atleast 6 table (+)
Buy a second monitor, multitable 8-10 cont. (+)
Create a useful HUD (+)
Got HEM(+Omaha), SNG Wiz, 2 monitors. I can multitable up to 10 tables now. Made a little script with AHK to arrange and resize my tables, helps a lot with shitty Ongames soft. I also plan to extend the script so I can at least have hotkeys for folding and pushing. Changed my HUD a million times and I'm now stuck with only preflop stats filtered by player #, everything coloured. There's so little postflop game that I don't even use cbet/fold to cbet.
Reach 75 buyins for $5s (+)
Reach 100 buyins for $10s (+)
As I live in a small poor country money wise poker is very profitable for me. Especially considering that I chased bonuses for constant %50+ rakeback. I was able a BR sufficient even for $33 games but never moved there. Reasons below.
Qualify for Ongames rake race (+)
Qualify for Ongames rake race for $200 (-)
Qualify for Ongames rake race for $300 (-)
I actually thought I would qualify for $200 last month but I realized I played on 2 rooms and points don't sum up.
Be a winning player on $22s over at least 2k games (-)
Not close yet. I need to beat $11s for a decent sample first.
Life time graphs:
Micro ($3 and $5). I'm doing ok here. 5% adjusted ROI.

Low ($11 and $22). No sample and not comfortable with those swings there. I think I'm at best BE player there.

The blind structure is very unbalanced on Ongame. You start of with 50 as on ordinary turbos everywhere but nearing the bubble it's pure super turbo + antes what makes it even more faster. The variance is huge there thus I suppose best attainable ROI over a good sample should be like 7-8%. And by good sample I mean nothing less than 5k games. 1k is just nothing on those speeds.
Overall I'm running more than 130 BI above EV after almost 5k games. So if you believe red line yeah I'm very lucky. Anyway I consider myself as a somewhat 5% winning player in micro limits and BE at low.
I still have loads of leaks to fix. I'm only starting to adjust to antes. I steal way too tight when blinds are big, too loose near the bubble, etc. Although I have like 60bb/100 after 10k hands at 20 and 30bb level I still feel like I have no clue what my lines should be after flop. What is considered standard, what's not. I only play from my own experience which I build by only 4 tabling for 4 months.
Now about the future. Ongame doesn't offer much traffic at $33+ limits so I feel like this path isn't the best as it has limitations. Some other options:
1. Stay at Ongame and play 5max. Although I hate 5max games on Ongame, they are profitable and not like fullring they have enough volume at high limits to even go pro. If I feel like I'm getting any better postflop and on the whole with deeper stacks I will consider moving to them. They are even more unbalanced with 75/25 pay out structure, plus shitty blinds structure. Anyway that's adjustable and you can even exploit that to gain an edge.
2. Stay at Ongame and play DONs. Another game that has good traffic of all limits. I don't think they're anything profitable but it's easy to make money from big rakeback on Ongame. The least fun and most money oriented option, don't think I will go for that but nontheless.
3. Move to Party and continue fullring SNGs. The least unexplored option. From what I've seen from coachings the games are ok, the traffic is ok, but I'd like some opinion from some who grinds them and also played on Ongame so already asked some people who might help. I like Party's software too. The thing is I'm very spoiled by Ongame's rakeback so dropping from 50%+ to like 15% wouldn't be fun. Anyway at least I would enjoy playing and could move up some day to high stakes (hopefully there is traffic there)
4. Go crazy and switch to PLO. ♦ I already play some PLO10, dunno why I was hating the game even before I tried. Definitely a fun option but I'd have start from scratch as I have never played any cash games let alone PLO. What inspires the most is how soft the games are there. Anyway I will mix some PLO whatever I decide.
Anyway I have job now for summer so all those options will have to wait till autumn. For now I'll just stick to good old $5s and try to improve as much as I can. No money or volume oriented at all. I will only withdraw rakeback now and build my BR with winnings. Already deposited 500$ at Redkings and their FDB will give me 62.5% cashback for next 2 months.
I guess that's it. A long post already.
I will update some first post long term goals and done! Take care, bye.
