So..puschkin directed me to this place in the forum :) I feel like creating my poker diary here, so off we go! About me: I'm a 21 year old student from Belgium, studying IT (or whats the name in English? I study programming, webdesign, .. stuff like that). I started playing trough pokerstrategy 7 months ago while they only had the promotion with party going on. I started playing fixed limit there because I was somewhat scared to play huge pots I guess. After a while I got terribly bored by poker and kinda ruined my whole roll there. Offcorse I started to regret that after a short while and started looking for a website where I could deposit on with a bankwire thing. So I started playing on PokerStars. I played alot of STTs and MTTs there but the last month or so, I started grinding out the 6-max NL tables because I realised that was the game where you could get the money! After missing pokerstrategy and the community here I noticed that I could set up a neteller account, withdraw some money from stars to my account and then redeposit it on full tilt. That's what I did, I deposited $110 on FTP (don't ask me why it's 110, I have no clue either!) So today I started playing NL10 6-max (yea I know, bad bankroll management but I'm pretty sure I can dominate those tables *feeling modest*:)) I got my aces crushed 3 times in row already though, but we're hanging on! I guess I'll do a little dayreport every time, hope to inspire some other microgrinders, maybe teach someone something once, .. We'll see :)

Wow, I got hit by a cold deck today, rather insane.
I lost 5 buy-ins in less then 500 hands!?!

And the way it started was even worse:
2 new players to the table, utg raises, MP calls and I reraise with my QQ. UTG shoves and MP calls so I had to trow it away. Then I see them flip over A9o and A8o, both with a 100BB stack.
I was rather pissed when I saw that but I didn't care too much because I kept getting KK and AA, at one time I had aces on 3 tables at the same time.

Downside:
When I had KK, twice someone had AA and another time A8s > KK sigh
When I had AA I got owned by KK and TT, I did win one of them :')

I was really playing with my mouth wide open, never seen such a cold deck before.

That happens to all of us. Sometimes worse hands win. Otherwise there won't be bad players who "feel lucky" and throw their money away

No update in a while, I know, but I havent really played either (even tho I hit gold status)
The reason beeing is that my real life is currently on a low, I don't really know what it is or what I have, but every time I go somewhere I start hyperventilating. Havent been able to go to school for 1,5 weeks now, don't feel like playing any poker, don't feel like doing anything. Pretty rough, specialy since I don't know what's going on.
I made an appointment with a pychiatrist and kinesists to get some relaxation and breathing exercises, we'll see what will happen I guess..

Anyhow, gonna start playing some more poker this evening, hope the break was good for me. My roll hit around $500 now and I feel like playing some more full ring so it's gonna be NL25 full ring.

Apparently I have a panic impairment and that was causing the problems I wrote about above. I'll be going back to school in februari

After winning that tournament I descided it was time to move back to cash. I finally was rolled for some higher (before I always kept running horrible when I switched to NL25 =/)

I started out at NL50 and moved up to NL100 now.
Here are my last 3 days (started cashgames 3 days ago again):
