^^i done this earlier..shoved a dry flop with top pair and guy called with overcards only to hit on turn..i typed ''well played'' he typed back ''ty'' as if i was being serious lol

The closest I got to abuse was when I bluffed the river and the guy went off on a huge rant about how it's rigged and he can't believe he got rivered again, and fuckity, fuck, fuck, fuck, and then folded. Made my day.

As I mentioned earlier, I turned off chat AND player images. And now I can type in whatever I like to in the chat and don't have to worry about any responses

Interesting thread.Being sucked out on is one thing but being sucked out on by a bad call etc. really used to grind my gears and i would usually lose it and end up getting my chat banned and lose concentration.Now i try and take a different approach.
Last night it happened to me by some donk and he started making fun of taking my money and all that but he mentioned he needed more of my money for food so now advantage me.
I acted as if i was really concerned about his welfare and started recommending charities and hotlines he could call if he needed someone to talk to.I turned it into him looking like a complete charity case and a down and out and had the whole table laughing at him within a few mins.Not surprisingly he stfu fairly soon and i felt a bit better about the whole thing then.Chat can be a psychological warfare and b4 it used to tilt me but i got the better of it now.
I've outtalked jerks too before, but usually also lost money in the process since I was multitabling. One little funny episode: villain played bad and misread me and ofc I was an idiot because of that. His nic was bayshark indicating ambitions at least. I stayed calmed and misread his name replying 'no need to get angry 'babyshark'. More agreeable with the reality than his nic ♠_biggrin:. Don't know if he noticed the added b but he kept quit after that at least. Guess he knew about tilt anyway and tried to calm down.
About the live play: people can say 'fish call', 'unreal', lucky' etc, but they aren't allowed to insult you personally, like 'lucky idiot'. Just tell the jerk, dealer, supervisor, manager, Obama and God; in that order ♠_cool:.
People are different, for me personally it was a "high" experience to turn off chat and images!
