there is no doubt you will reach your SN status.
I also really hope that the FullTilt roller coaster stops soon and you get your BR back.
Then if the account is still tracked to here I feel an extra black suit may be on order. :f_cool:

Hey guys I just encountered the most pissful play ever...most bad, most wrong, most tilting, I dont know, am I the only one who thinks that?
It is 30$ 9man KO turbo...
The SB is a regular, breakevenish, shorthanded opening from sb 70% hands (1,5k sample), fold on 3bet is 40%. I do have some reads on him, his plays is often "funny"...but WTF is that???

SB: 2,862 (14.3 bb)
Hero (BB): 3,054 (15.3 bb)
CO: 3,214 (16.1 bb)
BTN: 4,370 (21.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q♠ A♥
2 folds, SB raises to 424, Hero raises to 3,054 and is all-in, SB calls 2,438 and is all-in

Flop: (5,724) 2♥ 9♣ 7♦ (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Turn: (5,724) 9♦ (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: (5,724) J♥ (2 players, 2 are all-in)

Results: 5,724 pot
Final Board: 2♥ 9♣ 7♦ 9♦ J♥
SB showed 7♣ K♦ and won 5,724 (2,862 net)
Hero showed Q♠ A♥ and lost (-2,862 net)

I have TNinga but only use it to load games and stack tables, and I struggle with 12 game sets. I feel im under utilizing TN. any tips or steps u could share on how u went from 10 to 20 tabling?
sets or continuous?

Hey!
Nah I think he just made that call I am aware of few weird weird spots with him, so...bluh! ;)

I have no simple advice. If u do sets, TN is not that useful, its most helpful feature is that it keeps u registering and keeps the number of tbls u want. If u play sets u most likely table select and can reg yourself into this games manually. If u wanna play more tables try continuos playing of less tables thn u play now, use TN for that and try to get use to it, u ll play more sngs in less time, your hourly will go significantly up. Thn try addin tables, slowly...no rush...
And again - no simple answer, best is to get coaching and fit some strategy...

GL!

Interesting hand that kinda took me of the rytmus and I used my time bank there ;)
What do u think, it is 15$ 9man bubble, CO is unknown, really no reads, BB is a winning reg. And the bigstack is also unknown. And iti is 300/600/50

BTN: 8,005 (13.3 bb)
Hero (SB): 1,680 (2.8 bb)
BB: 1,840 (3.1 bb)
CO: 1,975 (3.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T♠ T♦
CO raises to 1,925 and is all-in, BTN folds, Hero ?

Try SnG Solver instead of Wiz. It has future game simulation so should deal with such situations a bit better.

After looking more into this hand I'd say it's the bottom of my range but still a call. :)

OK, guys, thx for stopping by, u r all snap calling, wow aggroooos ;)

When I was playing this hand, 20+ tabling I was snap calling too, but thn I checked the table again and was like "siiiiick". I tried to figure out COs range, it could have been super tight, pretty wide, so I took the basic presumption of unknows - they are slightly tighter thn nash usually, so I gave him like aces, some pairs, some suited maybe, around 20%. Thn theres BB, winning reg - he cant ever ever overcall us lighter thn AK in my eyes. So I CALLED. BB did fold, CO shows A5o and I hold...

Thn after the session I replayed it and had another look. We arent in the worst shape at the table, the reg on the BB is actually, he ll blind out earlier. If I fold, BB calls with some better aces, better pairs, KQ maybe and so on, one of them is probably out or cripled. If BB folds, BB is cripled, next hand bigstack should make some pressure or he is pushing into unknown bvb and unknown ill usually call...so now I am maybe folding.

Thn I opened wiz, did nash and so on. It is ultra close. But we can call here only at these conditions - CO is wide enough 20%+ and BB is tight enough (less thn 4% actually). So u must really know that he s a good reg.

And next time...I FOLD...coz I cant be sure CO is wide enough...I ll be JJ+. - It is a bubble, we are not in the worst shape...sick.

I did open that in wiz and got a little different numbers. Be sure u have changed the calling range of the big blind in analysis details when Hero folds. Defaultly it is 50% but we should put there smth like 15%. After that we can see our calling range 88+, AQ+, AJs+.

Anyway, nice hand for discussion

L4nce, it might work but only when u open CO range...I mean if Co was about nash - 24%, thn BB would have to be calling like only 7%. Ofc if CO was pushing 45% as wiz puts him on defaultly (nonsense I think), thn 15% of BB calling range is enough to stick TT in...

Nice hand discussion, you have made me relook at the numbers.
It is much tighter than I originally thought, but in the heat of battle I would
still get all in with 99+ AQ.
cheers and keep up the good work.

Not sure we understand to each other.
Even if we tighten up the range of the CO we get a nice calling range 88+...
CO has to push about 66+, AT+ to make us fold and i am not conviced by this range.

Ed.: dunno whats wrong with putting picture address but just copy the adress and see that spot in wizard with appropriate numbers

Oh maaan...am so...D
Had to do it like million times to get it finally right...

My apologiez and thx to L4nce a lot.

This spot is about nash 88+, AQ+, AJs+ if CO isnt tighter thn 66+,AT+ and BB doesnt spew somewhat...

Definitely interesting one ;)

Just what do u think, would u stick AJs in? I just wouldnt...

And for that link, I think it is because of your status at pokerstrategy, u cant enter the link or so...

Why meee?

Bubble 15$ 9man turbo, 200/400/25, CO same winning reg as the TT hand, CO unknown, SB winning reg.

SB: 6,684 (16.7 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,565 (3.9 bb)
CO: 873 (2.2 bb)
BTN: 4,378 (10.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8♥ 8♠
CO folds, BTN raises to 4,353 and is all-in, SB folds, Hero ?

This is an easy fold coz BTN wont be too much loose due to SB. If the pusher was SB (on ATC), it can be bottom call at me, rather check it in wiz.

To previous hand with TT. Interesting discussion would be if we should give a lot of credit to waiting for blinding out of the BB (e.g. in case of having AJs). The problem is, that the blinds are 300/600 and by folding we are losing a huge amount of equity if blinds will go through us.

Just realize an extreme situation with blinds 600/1200, would you like folding war with another shortstack at these blinds ? Means, you get more often ITM but with totally destroyed stack guaranteed 3rd place, or get a bigger stack from all-in confrontation and have a great chance for 1-2 place.
Thats often a beginner question, if it's better to play for 1st place or not. Sure, experienced players know that this is a bad strategy at STT because tbh most of time you have blinds 100/200 or 200/400. But it should be seen from this example that it's relative to blinds.

I have never read an article with some mathematical analysis dedicated to this topic. I play those situations more conservatively but know that a lot of top regs are tend to call from that reason.
How much blinds have to be big to not take into account future spots ? Who knows.....
