I am thinking of upgrading to HM2 any time soon tho. Or maybe I should wait until next year when they release "the super new advanced HM3" ♠_biggrin: And, by the way, this is some sick run you had. Keep up the hard work. Maybe we'll meet each other again on the tables at some point ♠_biggrin:
Hey, I have some time right now so I ll summarize another aprox 900+ sngs.
Great thing is I played over 1100 games in week. Bad is I had a 700 swing and decided to drop 30s for bankroll safety. Fortunately I managed to climb up and make a decent profit. I have 5 or 6 plus days in a row, thats amazing, not use to it ♦ These days are like +100-200 bucks a day, perfect outcome, would be so sweet if it was every day ♦ Poker would be emotions free hehe.
Feel great about my game, I did finally break that curse of mine in HU game. I have more 1st finishes last days. Feel more confident 4-5 players game and as a bigstack, thats what I am most studying lately. I also studied few regs and feel good about exploiting them, I am also making some changes to bvb play and maybe am more trapping fishes...
U know it feels nice when u r concentrating on one thing and the others are just like robotic...u r handling them unconciously
Ok, enough "feelings", numbers are:
Tournaments: 6912
Winning 4225$
Hours: 309,5
Avg Buyin: 15,27$
ROI: 4,0%
Hourly: 13,7$
VPPs left to Supernova: 44,471
FPPs: 93,272
Hey!
It has been another week or so, I started it as usually by Sunday downswing about 500-600 bucks and finally decided to drop 30$. I just dont feel comfy with 50BIs bankroll. I will play only 15$ this year thn decide. It is again caused by my loss of 5k aprox on FT, I dont wanna have a big BR online...
Anyways I feel good, having nice days lately, but I really care about volume, +- $ dont matter, it is great for the game, I feel the right aggro way ♦
Numbers are (I made a mistake last week so it looks like I earned only 200 bucks bu I made more...doesnt matter):
Tournaments: 8072
Winning 4.475$
Hours: 354,6
Avg Buyin: 15,31$
ROI: 3,6%
Hourly: 12,6$
VPPs left to Supernova: 38.008
FPPs: 109.432
TO complete the supernova challenge I need to play on average 145 sngs a day. I can play around 250 sngs in a day, so it is nicely achievable with few days off
Am not posting hands or so, I focus mainly on the volume right now, maybe am losin money at some spots but in general I think I play OK. At the end I ll add rakeback money and I think the numbers and hourly will be nice
Nice hourly $! You can def. make a nice profit playing the 15$(especially with the huge volume you put), but why would you drop the 30$? Just mix in some 30$ KO's as they are so yummy! I think on average you are gonna have 5-6 15's and 1x30$ KO. It's up to you of course.
Thx m8. Yes I had about 10-15% of 30$s, problem is the variance. Losin 15BIs is like losin 1/3 of roll and thats not something I like. Next year am gonna climb up in stakes again, build a bankroll. Now it is all about safety.
Nice blog !
MMMmmmh ... Can u make a video for us of 7.5 or 15 SNG turbo ? ? ?
Add it to fav.
GL at table
Many thanks palante!
For the video: I always wanted to relize myself this way, I did few coachings for friends and it is great for me to think through the spots and so on from basics so an amateur or semi-pro can easily understand it. So it is both sides beneficial.
BUT! It takes time and why would I share with public what am learning many many hours a day ♦ I think u can understand this
I always help anyone, am not cocky or something, but with that I have a problem
Is it possible, that I am third time 31st in high orbit BoP? ♦ Fvckin bubbles hehe... If I ll maintain the run am havin, I dont care, but still so sick ♦

LOoL! ♦ Hahha. But it's good you take it on the funny side. Major profit comes from %ROI anyway, so you shouldn't feel down. Maybe you will make the big hit very soon and finish first in the low/high orbit! And by the way, the idea of the video was good. You can just pick a spot where you don't play vs well-known regs, so you won't share in public the adjustments you make vs them. Pretty basic strategy I guess.
Hey guys!
Am happy as a child, finally bought some better headphones:
And I must say it is WOW! At pretty low cost also! I barely hear what s goin on around me and I feel I can concentrate more on my game
Now something more about poker. I had the weirdest session now ever. Played 100 games in 3,1 hours - very good volume for myself and I felt like am runnin like sh**. I didnt look at any results, had stacked tables, listened to music, just as I like it. I played and played, felt bad and at the end I was like "oh man, -200 or -400$?"...BUT I was +300$ ♦
So weird. Makes me feel awesome - I played a lot, stacked, not lookin ow the hand was and so on - perfect.
I just saw your graph and was nicely suprised, seems like bad times are gone. You are getting really consistent results, that's great !
As you know i dont play these games anymore, but i wonder about solid winning regs still playing there. Can you put some names u play most often or most aware of at 9man turbo $16 ?
Also it seems that u play continuous without a table selection and have such a great performance and on the top of that still improve your multitabling, its really amazing.
GJ man
Roy4lP...
cz stt brother :-)
Thx a lot Roy4l!
For me was very helpfull that I set up the volume goal and I need to maintain it if I wanna have some income even in breakeven months, so every other things are goin within. I mean that am adding tables is a result of time management and so on.
My graph is indeed lookin pretty hot ♦ There s few hundred difference between real and sharkscope, but that s not important, important is that am not stucked.
And it is true that am not table-selecting or so, I cant choose times to play, it is very family-depending...some tables are ofc slightly -EV
Am gonna add YOU to my friend list and PM u about regs and so on, I dont wanna "exploit" myself here, u surely understand that
Time for another update.
Was a nice week, runnin good until last two or three days, but no disaster
The goal is not to bust and finish the Supernova status ♦
I played almost 1300 sngs this week that is also nice.
I am also still wondering how it is possible that every session is so different hehe...poker is soooo unique
Numbers:
Tournaments: 8951
Winning 4985$
Hours: 389,2
Avg Buyin: 15,28$
ROI: 3,6%
Hourly: 12,8$
VPPs left to Supernova: 33,171
FPPs: 121,531
I need to play aprox. 144 sngs a day now...
And there s the hot run graph - u can see that sharkscope didnt track all the sngs and also profit is higher thn real profit, it is all coz of the wrong tracking of KOs. But I really care about the LINE...IT IS LINE, not some BANANA ♦
Hi Milan
following your great blog.
I play a few $15 sng(table selection= No SuperUorMe on table!! LOL)
How do you keep count of the number of tables open at one time?
Do you increase your bankroll as you increase the number of tables?
And you say you make notes as well!! I assume this is done during a review session.
Any tips on how to increase the number of tables? I can handle about 4.
cheers
Mark
Hey Mark, thx!
It is very good u table select with this "low" volume.
I have minimized Holdem Manager so I can only see number of tourneys completed and running, I do use TableNinja, so I can set the number of tourneys I want to register and keeps me registering...with that combination and some skill I can regulate the numbers very quickly.
I do not increase my bankroll, O dont do anything with my bankroll - I already know I am a inning player so I am comfortable with arround 100BIs no matter how much tables am playing. I am recovering from bankroll loss on FullTilt, so I just keep withdrawing and maintain the 100BIs bankroll - it depends on u how big bankroll u feel comfortable with.
I make less notes when playing 20-25 tables ofcourse, I play stacked tables so sometimes when I for example shove from the SB into the BB where am not sure what his range is I take that table aside and if called and I see something strange, I make a note. When I have less tables I do sharkscope players I have some nice sample and mark them depednding on their ROI - it tells me a lot about their tendencies. When I see some fishy play I just mark player as a fish, it doesnt matter to me if he s shovin bad or calling bad or stackin off - just a fish. And when I do some review I make a note of some weird plays. I also do review plays of the regs from time to time to adjust properly.
And tips to increase volume? It depends on many many factors. U really have to play and play and play, study study study, at best add some coaching and thn u ll be able to put more tables...u can do it very slowly, just add one, play a week.. u ll see that the game will simplifie with volume...
Milan
Thanks for your reply.
I have a BR limit of 65BIs
I may drop down limits and try to multitabe more.
Hopefully your loss from FullTilt may not be as bad as we all thought(Fingers crossed!!)
Will you move up limits if you get your 5K?
Would you stay on Stars or go to FT.
Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck.
I know skill is the name of the game, but luck really comes in handy
cheers
Mark
I recommend u higher bankroll
Play limits u feel comfortable with, it is all about what suits YOU the best...
Am OK with that loss, what can we do, I just dont wanna have to much money in cashier now...
If I ll move up or play on FT depends on many things - current bankroll, bonuses on FT? What format will play and so on, poker is a lot about adapting and taking the best value, will see
Thx m8, best of luck to u too!
Will take on board all you have said thanks for your time.
We are not far away on BR as for me to multi, say 20 tables I would need 85BIs if I stayed as is.
So with that in mind I will increase BR with any extra tables I add.
Do you use any form of cashing out strategy?
I remove 3% of the buy in from my BR for every 9 man SNG I play. This ensures that I only stay at a level that I can profitably play.
I also remove various amounts depending on games I play ie 8% for MTT's.
This strategy is based on an article by a coach called Jennifear.
Be lucky mate
Mark
