This guy's stats: 54 hands - 26/21/ATS - 67

He's stealing fairly wide, so I call his smallish c-bet.

Do you check behind here with small PP? Since he checks, I bet for free showdown or maybe make him fold.

Pretty standard?

Fold on flop is standard imo. On the turn I would check behind and re-evaluate on the river. Every time I don't hit a set and face a bet here I easy fold. I think you overplayed the hand here.

Just my thoughts. ;)

Maybe i should add more info to explain my reasoning... ;)

1) He had 100% cbet in 7 attempts before this. Now 8 out of 8, surely he can't have a monster every time... :P

2) Bet size tell. I was curious about his cbet sizing here, because he normally value bets closer to 75% pot. So methinks he has nothing.

I called the flop to re-evaluate the turn, so when he checks i know i'm ahead. If i check behind the turn, i'm not too happy if a high card or spade hits the river.

Hello philhellmutt,

Seems to be fine and I wouldn't play it much differently. Nice hand! He definitely has a lot worse hands in his CBetting range and can easily give up on turn.

Best Regards.

Cool, that's what I thought.

If we were OOP in this spot, would you fold the flop? I mainly called because I had position.

Even thought of raising his weak flop bet, but things could get nasty on the turn or river if he calls.

Sorry, just wanting to analyse my play more... ;)
