there used to be a site called "Rummy Royal" online where you could play several versions of rummy (incl. gin) for fun, cash, and it even had tourneys
it's probably still around, and was a decent site and software, iirc
(Gin Rummy was my favourite card game as a kid btw, and I used to play it for hours at a time with my [sadly missed] Grandad - happy memories!)
