Montenegro Tower: Coworking space & live music bar by late 2022

I'd love to visit!

I might actually open up for Outdoor evening use outside the main tower building from June this year, so in 2 months If everything goes well, we can enjoy the location this summer already! Just the tower wont finish until end of summer/year, I will work on the second, smaller ruin to finish up as a kitchen/bar though.

Seems interesting. it's a long way from the Netherlands to go there with a car.

Better to fly Amsterdam has 5€ flights as well in normal conditions

That sounds cheap, but no plans to go there.

Just today I had two dutch guys coming over, they travel around with the car as well But they are on a longer trip, so different situation.

Yeah. It's still hard to believe you can fly to Montenegro for only €5. The trip to the airport cost already more.

Quick update on the project: So far it is looking good for a late August/September opening of the Bar already, I will follow up with the Coworking early next year and do it step by step I also started to document the entire process on YouTube, feel free to have a look!

What is the climate like there? Will there be additional insulation besides the air space in the terra cotta blocks?

I was in an old mission church in California years ago. It was very hot outside, but quite cool inside. The walls were a metre or so thick and made of "adobe" which I think is a type of clay. There was no actual insulation.

Yes I will have something similar in the tower ruins, the walls there are around a meter thick as well and its super cool outside on very hot days and nice and warm on very cold days. Just the newly build house needs insulation

The walls are all standing and we've got a great view from the balcony. There will also be a roof top terrace in the end with both sunrise AND sunset views, loving it!

I'm guessing that there aren't a lot of earthquakes in that region.

Good — brick block doesn't do well in the big ones.
I live near Vancouver, and in my lifetime we've only had small ones, the potential for a big one is there.
