All right, I guess Lazza is a wombat now.

Good luck with that cube-shaped poo.

When wombats play Craps, do they take the game literally? _confused:

Still gotta use up that cream in the fridge before it expires, so it's time for another drink. This one is called Better Than Sex, but I call it "Better Serve it in a Lowball Glass Next Time" - the proportions in the recipe seem way off for a highball, as you can see:

The taste is indeed pretty good (not sure about the "better than sex" part), though honestly, it's not all that different compared to those other cream-based cocktails.

I think the "Chocolate Squirrel" may be my favorite out of those so far. That, or the good old "Screaming Orgasm". _wink:

Indeed the day drinking becomes better than sex for you is the day you have a problem...
Either a problem with alcohol or with your sex life, that I don't know. Nor do I care really.

The last time I had a problem with alcohol was when there was nothing left at home, and all the stores were closed. And that was years ago.

Less than 12 hours to the start of the "Talk Like a Pirate" Stream on http://www.twitch.com/maugr1s

It would sure be great if some of PokerStrategy.com's least caring people could drop by.

There'll be rum for all!

Breaking news: Had the left-overs of my yesterdays stew for dinner. _smile:

For lunch I had bone marrow soup. Had some frozen down so I just had to defreeze it and warm it up! _smile:

Do you bake your own beans from scratch?
I used to do this when I lived alone.

I've never tried 'em with fish, but with ham, bacon, corned beef or even wieners they're great.

No, I'm using the canned variety. They're affordable, decent quality, and really easy to make - just put them in a pot and... that's pretty much it, just heat them.

I first got the idea of using them with fish sticks on my first UK trip way back in 1999, when they were served that way in a pub. By now, I almost always have baked beans along with my fish sticks. (the Brits call them "fish fingers" instead)

And speaking of which, I sometimes like to serve those baked beans with sausages as part of some kind of "Full English Breakfast". In fact, I got most of what I need at home already, so you can expect some pictures some time next week, I guess.
