It's a fine day for a takeout schnitzel. 
Let's try something new. This one is topped with a certain type of mushrooms, I think they are called boletus. Never had them before at all, I believe.
Aside from those mushrooms, this schnitzel is topped with cream sauce and cheese, though you may not be able to spot the cheese right away...
Move the sauce aside a little, and you will find the cheese. 
It was good, as always. I tried some of those boletus mushrooms on their own, and they were okay too, but I don't think I would go out of my way to get them. They were good in combination with the schnitzel, though.
I have had boletus before.
I didn't care for the texture (well this is the I don't care thread 
).
They were rather rubbery.
In other things no-one cares about, there are now 15hr 41 min of daylight here at Vorpal Manor.
On the TV it said sunset was at 21:00 but that must be somewhere that is else.
It was actually 20:48 here.
I was only trolling, of course, this was just what my salad looked like after slapping the total amount of dressing on top of it, before tossing and all.
Here's how the finished salad looked like:
I made my tried and tested fake chicken tortillas for lunch again, for which I had to prepare a fresh batch of my homemade ranch dressing mix. Since I enjoyed it so much and wasn't sure what to make for dinner, I decided to just make some ranch dressing again (using up the rest of my mussgo sour cream in the process) and use it for some basic salad.
Too bad I didn't have any of that fake chicken left, so I just added olives, tomatoes and some cheddar.
This was probably the first time I made a fully vegetarian salad as a main meal for me.
I hope it tastes better than it looks.

The salad? I thought I did a pretty decent job arranging it in that second picture.
Of course, I just mashed everything back together as I began eating it.
Taste was pretty good, I'm quite proud of my ranch dressing. 
Some extra chicken, real or fake, would have added a lot to that meal, though.

And I think Harriers salad looks good.
dishwasher tech showed up yesterday and declared our dishwasher dead.
He will report back, and hopefully within a month or two we'll have it replaced.
In the meantime, I'm doing far too many dishes!

The weather has been quite swingy here, which wasn't really a problem until last evening, when there was a short thunderstorm all of a sudden that knocked out not only our internet connection, but also access to the power lines with a well-aimed lightning strike.
When I was driving around town a few minutes later, the traffic lights were still out of order.
