We went on a drive around the neighbourhood to look at Christmas lights last night.
Over the past few years the number of decorated houses had dropped considerably, but there were lots of nice displays last night.

We're not affected. The creek in the gully beside us would need to rise about 30m before our house is threatened, but if it tried, it would overflow the street to the north of us.

The rain has dropped to "normal" levels, and the creek in the gully didn't even flood its banks
