A low pressure system originating from Alaska will arrive over the South Coast today.Light precipitation is likely across the region today with the potential for locally heavier precipitation tonight. Snow levels will generally hover around 300 - 400 meters. Locally heavier areas of precipitation will have the potential to drive snow levels lower. with the Sunshine Coast, Howe Sound, higher elevations of Metro Vancouver as well as the North Shore of Metro Vancouver to Mission having a higher change to see snowfall accumulations.
Not even raining, and the temperature is 5C
Snow is quite unlikely under these conditions.

We had a light dusting of snow last night. Pretty much all gone by the time I got up though.

The snow is now mostly gone here too, after some rain earlier today. But I heard that some additional massive snowfalls are expected within the next one or two days.
Some heavy snowfall last night again, that's how it looks like over here right now:

My mother lives downstairs from me, she takes care of it while I'm away at work.
