I might enter 1 or two $1k WSOP events but mainly I'll be playing smaller casino events and CGs. Just depends how much I can save up, I'm pretty much going to be a hermit for the next 2 and half months to save for this. Want some serious coin..lol

for everyone asking about WSOP events... yes, there are $1k NLHE events every weekend (similar to the $1k stimulus event last year)...
BUT!
The Golden Nugget itself runs a massive tournament series at the same time called the Grand Poker Series - http://www.goldennugget.com/downloads/Grand_Poker_Series.pdf
Personally, I'm not planning on playing any WSOP events, but obviously if kyle does i'll rail him and enjoy some side games/blackjack at the rio at the same time 
My goals for this trip are to have a holiday and relax by the pool with a fruity drink with a little umbrella sticking out of it in my hand the entire time, play some cash games, a few tournaments at the nugget, explore vegas, visit the grand canyon etc. it's my partners first time out of australia (luckily, she's a better tournament player than i am lol) so it's a holiday for both of us in the mecca of poker.
as for the side games, from what i've observed from my holiday earlier in the year, no tougher than side games at australian casino's... the locals obviously target the tourists, and there is plenty of money being thrown around, especially if u play the no max games (like the NL200 at the nugget, buy in from $100 but no max, some guy sat next to me with $1k and sprayed it over several hours lol)
i also want to play cg's in as many different casino's as i can, i've only played at the nugget, binions and the bellagio so far, so list of places i want to play include:
The Venetian
The Aria
Hard Rock
Wynn
Caesars
Bill's Gambling Hall
Luxor
etc....
oh, and i plan on tearing up the vegas nightlife too ♦ sit on a 2/4 LHE table, enjoy the $1 drinks, and wooooooooooo ♦

Btw, from what ive heard, nugget hooms are far from shitty.
I am thinking of making the trip around mid-end June, hopefully to play in a couple of $1000 or $1500 wsop events. Very interested in golden nugget at $40 a night.

EDIT: Are you allowed in the casinos when your 20? And would you do anythings other than gambling? i.e sports, shopping, etc. I was thinking of coming for a week with a mate and just having a nice holiday. laying by the pool, playing sports, and railing you guys.
