I take my poker seriously, always reading books, watching videos and reviewing my hands to try and improve myself, like many on this forum.

Can anyone tell me what the ideal stake, where there are more serious poker players and less Donks, and where people respect your raises?

It gets a enoying where your sat a table where a donk call your 3bet preflop raise with 4 9o, t5hen ends up cracking your AA's with em.

Bobby's room - no donks, just serious players... your Aces won't get cracked by 49o there...

I'll bite...

1) You want aces to be called by 49o
2) You don't want to play with good players
3) Use a 25 buy in rule for cash games, 50 buy ins for sng's and ~100 for tourneys and you'll be playing the correct stakes
4) ??????????????
5) Profit

If you played at the $10/$20 tables on full tilt, you will find no donks.
Oh, wait, maybe one -- you.

Be very, very happy that you have people calling you w/ 49o. They win 12% of the time, you win the other 88.

What is WAY worse is a table full of nits, where you open raise AA and everybody folds and you pick up the blinds.

you need your raises respected, so play anything from midstakes+

Even at midstakes there's certain chance of running into donks. So I suggest you play heads up. Whenever you feel like your opponent is a donk who doesn't respect your raises, just leave the table.

Then again when you find a solid player who only calls you down with hands that beat you - tag him. That way you'll be able to find him later at the lobby. GL. Post a graph!

You should def play heads up - the less players at the table, the less donkeys. You should play as high as possible.

Amen, brother! I get exactly that at the William Hill 2NL tables. I've had AA about 10 times and have won about 40 cents.

how do you get AA cracked by 49o, that's not right? How are you going to play against regs if you can't beat fish?

you could try the isildur1 superstar challenge..i doubt he is a donk...he is a serious player....oh wait i doubt he ll respect your raises:D

on a more serious note...if there are no donks then you wont be able to make any money:) look at long term...

To get more respect you need to show them who you are: :f_biggrin:

Aces always hold up, if played by a serious player. Otherwise the site is rigged, obv. _love:
