I'm wondering if I'm missing value here. Should have I raised the turn and CAP the river?

cap river, don't raise turn, you have 10 outs here to beat his straight (which is most likely) on the turn, so you don't have raise for value here.

preflop is fine.
flop is a clear fold! you are getting 6.5 to 1, your outs aren´t clean at all: an 8 puts 4 to a straight on the board as well as a Q. only hitting a 7 will give you a half way decent hand (and you would be still beat by KQ which is a quite likely hand). furthermore there might be a 3-bet and a cap behind you.
remember this in the future: there is a huge difference in the value of oeds. e.g. KQ on a JT2 board is quite awesome because you drawing to the nuts and a straight won´t THAT obvious if you hit it. here your oesd is worth almost nothing because if you hit it you will either be still behind or you won´t get a lot of action.

turn is fine. pot is big enough to draw to your fh outs. if you don´t hit the river is a clear fold against two though.

i like the river c/r and as long as he isn´t a good TAG (which most palyers at these limits aren´t) i would cap it. he could easily play KQ like that and maybe even any Q ( like he did ^^). furthermore you only have to be ahead 50% of the time against his calling range because he can´t raise you anymore with JT etc.

I would 3-bet preflop. Fold the flop, you get 1:6,5 and have nothing but an idiot end OESD.

edit: phh frzl was quicker

...but i like the idea of a preflop 3-bet :)
still not sure if it´s the best play at the lowest limits. you will get called by 10 players and play oop :P

Yes, the hardest decision for me was on the flop. How was I supposed to discount my 10 undiscounted outs and what would be the right pot odds to call? I was really confused there because to call with 6.5:1 I need 7 outs according to the pokerstrategy charts. Wasn't sure I had them but to be honest I had no idea how to discount my outs for the idiot end of the strait or for a set on a 4-connected board, neither how to calculate my reverse implied odds.

In this case you can discount all your Q-outs (4), because when Q pops up, any K makes a higher straight. You can also discount your set outs (2), because when 8 pops up, any 7 or Q makes a straight. So you have only four outs: 7:spade:, 7:heart:, 7:diamond: and 7:club: and you need odds 1:11. You also don't have good implied odds on this board because your straight will be so obvious.

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind.
