It´s been 5 days of playing poker, since I "restarted" and so far, so good. Don´t know if it´s Christmas or what, but PS seems soft. I was running really good, however yesterday I hit couple bad beats. And when I say couple I mean a lot. Actually I played one of my unluckiest sessions in my carrier. Anyway, I´ve built up decent BR for NL2, so I don´t have to be afraid of busting because of low BR. And I can set my first goal, which is, to reach nl5 by the end of january (most likely I will get there much sooner).

I wanted to write updates every monday, but this one is sooner. It´s because I´m from the Czech Republic and since tomorrow poker is legalized in here. This means casinos have to ask for license to go on and not to break law at the same time. The reality is, that nobody knows how will it look like. So far, pokerstars disabled their games when you can play for real money for us (since tonight 20:00). So since I won´t play any poker till monday I make update tonight.

I don´t know, whether it´s Christmas or what, but NL2 seems very soft. So many mistakes I can see villains doing...

I will show there overall graph once per month, so here it is. I´m quiet upset about redline, how it went down in last few hands, but whatever, the green one is the one which matters. Despite that, it´s small sample afterall.

I don´t know when pokerstars will allow poker, so can´t really say whether I will play some poker next week, let´s hope so. I really can´t wait for playing NL5, bigger stacks = higher excitement.

Pokerstars just sent email (to all czech players I assume), in which they state, that the issue should get solved in course of days, so let´s hope it won´t take more than one week.

What is this vacation status good for?

Hi Mozzek, we normally remove players who are inactive in the challenge after a period of 2 weeks of inactivity. However, if we know that you don't play for a reason - holidays, studies, maternity leave, ...and this stuff, we won't.

I see, well I hope I will be back soon, it shouldn´t take more than 2 weeks, so you don´t have to put me on vacation :).

So, it took pokerstars more than month to open their games for ppl from the Czech Republic. Anyway, I´m back. In that meantime I wasn´t allowed to play, I read some theory (however I could´ve learnt more) and also think about future of my poker career. I have come to the conclusion that I should set some schedule of how much should I play per week. With school and gym I will manage 44h of poker per week. However, I don´t think I will accomplish this often, if ever. Those 44h are basically all free time I have and I don´t think I will always manage to devote it to poker.

My comeback´s started on thursday night. I´ve deposit 90USD on stars (got 5 USD from RB, that´s why 90 doesn´t match with previous post of mine). I played regular tables, however today I´ve tried zoom. Unfortunately I have some issue with HUD, so I can´t run it on zoom. The good news is, that we can´t play higher stakes than NL2 on zoom yet, so the fact I can´t use HUD there doesn´t really bother me, as I´m moving to NL5 this week :).

Unusual update in the middle of week. My BR reached 120USD and I think I should start shooting NL5. Before that I´d like to present here my stats from NL2 and basically whole of my way I´ve been on.

I would say I didn´t play bad. I´d say my winrate would be higher, if I didn´t play zoom last few days (where I don´t have HUD). Anyway, now I move to NL5, hope even for bigger winrate there, with HUD it should be easy peasy ;).

I would suggest adding RFI by position rather than VPIP/PFR by position. Also in regards to your CC stats, they seem a bit too static. Generally you should CC most from the BTN and less from CO and MP.

This is just chart of some of my preflop stats. In hud I have RFI by positions :). About CC, you might be right, but at NL2 isn´t it better to fold more than CC to 3bets? Not many ppl 3bet light. Or do you just mean, that my CC from BU should be bigger than from CO?

CC is just flatting a open raise, so it's not related to your opponents 3b. If anything I would say you can CC more at NL2 as villains usually squeeze less. But yes, my point is you will be able to CC more from BTN than CO and so on.

In the beginning of a week I tried NL5. However, it went terrible and I ended up with -22USD in 3k hands. So, I was recovering for the rest of the week and today I´m prepared to try it again. Tomorrow is the day. I´m also planning to see some video before I try it, because I feel it´s time to put some effort into studying as well. I will watch one episode of weazel´s series Red line rampage, which I think is very valuable.

You should probably try to take shots on weekends when the games are the softest in order to give yourself the best chance of success.

That´s true, didn´t consider this. Well, next time I will try to make my shots at weekends.
