Somewhat swingy session yesterday though I did play two plo50 and two plo100 tables so not really that swingy I suppose. Went around 500€ down and then got back to around 200€ down in the end. Long last session and kind of wanted to continue but started to feel too tired. But yeah I were 600bb deep versus this very bet happy player so it was definitely juicy spot.

Spoiler

Almost impossible to get called in river if villain is not one of who just cant fold high flush. I would not be surprised if this guy was bluffing here though with some busted wrap or oesd.

Biggest won pot € wise at least.

One of those "please dont have top set" spots once that flop raise came. I think its pretty decent hand to just lead though. Maybe should still check without bdfd.

This was at beginning of the session. BU open, SB call and I call from BB. Flop BU cbet half, SB fold and I x-r half pot. Bet turn for half and shoved river for 3/4 pot.

I kind of banged my head afterward on my line. Not only because of result but because of my line which is kind of bad from conceptual view imo. Obviously my hand is strong on flop but when we have no redraw to improve I think this is more of a x-c or lead hand. I suppose I dont mind bet turn, bet river line after taking flop x-r though in reality its probably on thin side. Might also be better to use smaller sizings and fold to shove on river.

Nice sessions today. Played only plo50 as there was nice amount of good tables and plo100 was not running. Well it did start bit later but didnt check what sort of table it was. But close to 10 bin profit anyway :)

This squeeze could be very debatable versus CO maniac. But worked out nice. Bit better like QT98ds definitely going with all day long.

Some of the biggest pots from today.

Spoiler

This guy had been 3betting lot of stuff. Seemed to be one of those who way overvalue double suitedness. In this one his pre and flop line is good. On turn I would probably check in his shoes but I can see some benefit in potting as it put so much pressure on my range. River shove though is probably because he didnt know what to do. Its basically bluff but I am not folding any straight. Not potentially that many sets or top two with good blockers/unblockers either. But definitely tough spot with less than straight.

Another maniac going wild deep stacked. I open and call SB 3bet. Then pot-call versus pot cbet. SPR was 8 on flop...

Spoiler

Versus solid reg. I think my hand is bit too strong to fold flop and no way to fold turn with SPR 1. Villain play seems kind of reasonable as well. Luckily it was AQQ and not AAQ.

Cool moment from yesterday. I open CO, SB 3bet and I call. SB cbets half which I call. Turn SB check, I stab half pot with plan to fold to shove and get called. River is blank and I shove remaining 55€ and get pot down (after villain tanking for quita a while) :)

But yeah I think interesting points in this hand could be:

- Position allows us to attack easier on board changing cards
- Not using big sizing on turn in position allow more stabbing and make more reasonable to have bet-fold range.
- Smaller sizing make villain life trickier. E.g. if we pot turn its kind of more about if villain is ready to stack off or not. Or have enough equity with draw to call with low implieds. But we make life easier for his kind of mid strength hands which can just fold easily. Also we lower chance of being able to barrel river with fe.

If opponent tanks he either acted or had AAJx type of hand. AAJJ is a tricky one on the river if taking passive line on the turn/river.

Run out of mastermind subscription for now but was studying 200bb 3bet pots in the end. Let me ask what would be your strategy on 742r after 3betting from SB versus BU open with 100bb and 200bb starting stack? Any differences?

As a rule of thumb it's the same adjustment as in any low SPR vs high SPR situation. At lower SPR it becomes 2 street game where we are potting that flop 3/4 of times. I don't have access to 200bb flop atm, but that same flop in high SPR (single raised pot, where we just call from SB) situation is almost a pure check. Of course the 3bet range from SB is stronger than calling range, but neither of those ranges connect with the flop. The difference is that once we pot the flop we can happily call a raise, if we have any SDvalue. At higher SPR we can't, which gives huge leverage for BTN postflop. So I would assume that in 3bet pot, 200bb stacks, SB is checking a lot on the flop.

Yeah it kinda mirror around strategy wise. So in 100bb we can just pot and stack off with lot of stuff and put ton of pressure on flop that is rarely hitting strong for BU either. But with 200bb we should not really use pot bet in first place as we can't make it two street game with pot, pot line.

100bb might have been like 80-85% betting mainly with pot and with 200bb it changes into 20-25% betting with 2/3 pot sizing.

Oh well around 1k€ down in last two days. Just absurd bs all the time. Today total whale. Stacking off with whatever shit versus other but versus me hitting nuts all the time. Kept playing as table was just absurdly soft but just cant win anything. This was last straw, basically preflop allin.

Same guy doing absurdly bad bluffs. Has nut flush versus my flush in 3bet pot. Top set versus my lower set etc. Then versus other dry top and bottom get bet-call flop 300bb deep and play massive pot.

Started with this. I could perhaps just check back turn but yeah. 66% on flop and still 42.5% on turn. But good pointer how wide this guy was blasting away. Then he has fucking set over set with close to any4 preflop range.

Nice session, had some wine and sauna. Up 7 buyins until last minutes, and then good customers started to give quads vs nut boat few times in a row. In the end result was 40bb/100 EV wise, should be happy about that. And session was slightly profitable, could be worse (like Ghaleon's sessions).

This happens quite often, and it always amazes me:

Spoiler

3bet pot pre, 4way. Flop goes checked, opponent pots turn 4way. I call. On the river he checks and I shove 65bb into pot of 100bb. And he snap calls with naked QQ.

And it isn't that he doesn't know the rules, as he has been around for a while. Once I call turn pot, what in the world he thinks I have? The answer is, he doesnät think what I have. And doesn't want to be bluffed. Maybe he has won a big pot lately with hero call or something. But that river check-call is VERY optimistic.

Seems like we battle at same tables. Saw your run at table, your run hit my balls and soul. I played under alias PillisenKari. You should have taken 2 minutes breath brake and continue to play. There were 2 massive Fish or as i also like to call opponents ASSburgers at tables, Nakedgun and FlushyFish.

Should be standard this variance in PLO, no? last time i was upset in NLHE when i pushed QQ over a tight player's 4bet only to see his KK. like who's the fish in that situation. he could do it with AK, JJ, TT. And, then the flop was Qxx when we were both all-in. i was like: haha! let's continue playing. but the turn was K, of course.

So checked those big losing hands from previous session.

In this pre is mandatory call. Flop I would as default x-c and look for x-r on this turn. But yeah with EP close to any4 very wide cbet range and likely wide call range its reasonable to raise. Could also just call but end result would be same.

So pre is probably somewhat close but I think we still open this having some connectivity. Flop I cant really fold to small cbet with fd and double pocket. Turn I was contemplating raising but decided to just call. Then river shove could be thin but I thought with my combo I heavily block T7 and T3. Also especially T3 and T2 should be very rare combos anyway. But yeah could have perhaps saved 40bb with just calling. Kind of dirty turn to hit when I am drawind practically dead. Plus only rivers I would shove would be like 7, 3 and 2. Some of high rivers we can potentially argue folding as well.

In this one my hand played itself. No way to fold pre imo and on flop even though fe is extremely low I think with wrap, bdfd and overcard we just ship it.

Yeah its kinda normal variance but when it hits for the bigger stake table you play and mainly versus any4 maniac... Well my mindset was not good to continue anymore. I were also very card dead on starting hands there and mainly completely missed when I did play. Then when you hit strong hand that any4 guy has nuts. Kind of middle finger stuff from lady Fortuna.
