Year 2025 recap
Sooo guys, it´s the end of the year of 2025 and time for a recap, let´s keep the main focus on poker.
Poker highlights
We ending the year with a highlight: The Big Quarter! As you can read here, we played the Big Quarter Phase I yesterday and placed!!! We placed 6th and qualified for the Big Quarter Final, which will run on January 5th! The Final Phase is going to be a Mystery Bounty and we´re excited to play that one for the first time!!
Me and my mascot Bowser jr. are excited!!

Another highlight was of course CG, which my Cash Queen and I enjoy very much. Well, to be honest, I enjoy poker a lot, when I have time and I would really love to have more time for it!
Both, CG and MTTs went well:
Start BR in 2025: 92 €
Current BR: 135,58 €
Profit in 2025: + 43,58 €
So, that´s not bad so far. After we had built a BR from 0 $ with freerolls on Partypoker, we decided to join the BR-challenge, but this time with CG! And that´s not a bad comeback to the tables so far, after a couple of years of almost poker-abstinence. :f_biggrin::f_thumbsup:
My Cash Queen (mascot) Pom Pom approves!

What else went well?
You can guess it: Tennis! Won most of my tennis matches, especially in women´s singles, and could significantly improve my ranking!!
My "Trollette" approves!

Many things went well in 2025, but of course there were some other things that went not so well.
Gardening (especially the HOT stuff!)
Horrible this year! Pests, pests, pests!! Especially lice!!! Bad harvest with sweet peppers and chillis!
The weather in July was not optimal for our green beans, so just a little harvest there. Pumpkin harvest was ok, but due to lots of rain in fall, some pumpkins rotted on the field. Due to dry weather in spring, most of the carrot seeds did not germinate! And we had the egg plants, eaten by snails!
Great fruit harvest, though. This year, we mostly ate spinach, fruit, pumpkin, zucchini, salads and tomatoes. Cauliflower harvest was also good!
Achillodynia!!
Again! In July I had pain in my right achilles tendon again, so, I had to take a break from tennis from July to September and was in physical therapy in August. It´s now healed!
Running
In February and March I did some running, I went for a 4 miles run with Harrier - and definitely decided: That´s not "my" sports! Running has always been my weakest sports and because of achillodynia (see above) I decided that it´s time to give up running for good! Will swim and cycle instead!
