Currently getting coaching from W34z3l so will defs be following. Also looking forward to the 4bet pot stuff!
Currentlly switching from NL10 to NL20 (6-max). Had a three-sessions coaching with w34z3l last year and was very satisfied (planning to do some more this summer).
Will follow this!

Is this video series going to be available to everyone, I.e Bronze + ?
It's not actually my decision. =/
Sometimes they put the first vid of a series as bronze, but I'm guessing the other vids might be at least silver. I'm hoping they will be silver but they set my last series as gold.
Hey guys,
All videos will be at least Silver, or maybe like w34z3l already said, the first video might be of a lower status. This could then potentially be Basic, as we currently don't release any videos for Bronze status.
As for what the minimum status for the videos will be, I sadly don't know either. ![]()
But like I said, most of the series will be Silver at least.

Tino

I would really ask you to keep the series as silver, especially as it
is for the micros. It's really frustrating, if you watch through part 1-5 /6
and than can't watch 6/6 because it's for gold status (which is kinda hard to get
for players on NL2/5/10 for which this series seems to be intended.

Is this also the topic where we have to post our homework? Already done with it![]()
Yes please, post homework here!
I will be putting my cold-calling ranges in the opening thread at some point also. I made a few fixes since the video was made, nothing major though
![]()
So here is my homework then:
Risk of Ruin calculation:
Current winning EV bb/100: 1,46
Standard Deviation (in bb/100): 70,41
Bankroll (in bb): 3958
RoR = approx. 9,72% Considering that I would keep playing the limit I currently play (NL10). However if I move down when needed I effectively have a lot more of bb's in my bankroll....
So with my bankrollmanagement plan (I use w34z3l's):
NL10: 2458bb (I move down when under 150$)
NL5: 1800bb (I move down when under 60$)
NL2: 3000bb
This gives me 7258 bb in my bankroll before I go broke. Considering I would have the same winrate on all levels this would give me a RoR of approx. 1,39%
And here's my clean desk grinding station.... with the charts from lesson 1 already printed and active on my second screen ♠_biggrin:
Hi w34z3l,
Is this a beginners series?
really loved your evolution of poker series. will in this one be something new or is it better to use the time to internalize the concepts from evolution of poker?
want introduction? Okay ♦
I started in March 2009 with 50 bucks from pokerstrategy by June I was a NL50 reg. Then work placement started, work got in the way and when I re-discovered Dota it was all over for my serious poker career.
Late 2012 I put 50 bucks on stars and Since November 2013 moved to Czech Republic to play full time and now play mostly NL16 every month promising myself ima move up this month
Can I ask a big favor w34z3l?
Can you please upload the slides from your videos and put a link to op?
Screens of the ranges would be great as well.
Series looks rly good, it's never bad to review the basics
Hey ![]()
Ok so ranges are in text format now in the OP. The easiest way is to copy and paste them in to equilab and save them.
Unfortunately it means you have to do this one by one, but there is no work around that I know of yet, so this is the fastest way. I recommend you use these ranges since a few minor tweaks have been made compared to the ranges in the video (although they are pretty much the same).
+++++++++++++++++1 for the intro video!
Ton of value for micro grinders like me who study the game
and wanna make a step into some serious crushing winrates
