What was the name of the site that you get the tournament named after you if you win it twice in a row?
By the way, how is your outdoor season going - should start for you soon, as well?

Technically, I wouldn't get named the tournament after me because I don't play them every day :f_ugly: But maybe it would be a good way to make me grind more often :f_biggrin:

Such a good start of the week, but Sunday session was terrible :f_ugly: No packages to live events either, although I reached Final Table in all 3 satellites - Monte Carlo, Namur and Malaga. But poker gods decided to stay me at home, yet :f_biggrin:

The worrying thing is that I don't remember when I had a profitable Sunday session. It might be a variance of bigger player pool, but I feel myself that I'm not at my best when playing late Sunday night. Will have to review my preparation routine for sure :f_eek:

Yeah, worst week of the year, so far :f_ugly: A very strange Sunday session, although probably the best by quality of playing. Prepared well, focused well, even had a great start in Pig Zodiac event.

With 13 players left, I had a good chance for at least getting into Final Table. Especially when I found A♠:K♠: vs A♦:Q♦: preflop :f_eek:

Other tournaments also started going not in my way - lots of Top2 vs sets, made hands outdrawn, my draws not completed and in the end Poker Gods sent me to bed earlier than I hoped :f_biggrin: No packages to Live events either, but there is another Sunday :f_thumbsup:

It might seem like a bad week, but there are couple of hidden gems in this summary.. :sifflote:

The first one is a Live Ticket to Namur. I've never been in Belgium so I'm happy to add another country to my list.

And the 2nd one is even bigger - a trip to Malaga with hotels included. Just before my birthday, a week in a sunny Spain :sfishy:

Wow, Spain ! My girlfriend has lived there. She still has friends in Barcelona and Malaga, wherever they are in Spain, I don't know.

Not bad and than it's most likely decent weather in Malaga. Not to hot like in July and August :gl:

I see it's already 25 degrees in Malaga which I don't mind :f_cool: Also, I'm thinking if I could find a way to reach Gibraltar on the same trip :f_drink:

Again it would seem that it was a terrible week. But in reality not that bad :f_ugly:
First, I got another ticket for Belgium Namur Main Event. It starts next week and as usually I have big hopes for that :f_cool:

However, more hopes coming for Bounty Mystery event, where I come with a big stack. Having 12x starting stack and covering large percent of the field, gives you a good chance for a nice bounty, the biggest one set for a cool million :f_ugly:

whohooo - that's what we've all been waiting for!
Happy to give you the full tour in Gib - monkeys, rock, caves, fish&chips,.....
and can pick you and family up at the border (do not enter with the car unless you enjoy long queues)
ME in Malaga starts on 12th - maybe 11th makes sense? Up to you (weekday preferred)

Greetings from Namur!
Seems like a nice city, but not many opportunities to Explore more. Just finished the bubble phase on day2 with 250k chips, while average is around 300k. 180 players come back tomorrow.

And for Gibraltar I really would like to have a trip there! Will try to organize my schedule once Im back home from Belgium 😎

Hello Grinders :f_thumbsup:
Well, I had another deep run in the Main Event of FPS Namur, but trophy is still on the cards :f_eek: Finished 24th from ~1200 runners, and this time pocket ladies Q♠:Q♣: were guilty of that. I was around 16th stack at that time with 35BB so still quite deep, but after tanking and being called a clock by one opponent I reluctantly made a call and run into pocket Kings. I'm not sure what local reporters included here, so if you know Dutch, please translate :f_biggrin:

The next day I came back home and had that Final Day of 525$ Mystery Bounty Event online. On the first levels I already suffered Bad Beat when my J♥:J♦: were destroyed by A♦:T♦: preflop jam of 30BB. And as you can see from the picture, last hand of K♠:K♣: couldn't survive in a 3way pot against A♦:K♥: and 7♦:7♠: Nonetheless, a good week overall and hopefully I can keep the pace :sfishy:

Good day fellas :f_thumbsup:

Just got back from PokerStars Live event in Malaga, and as you can see from bankroll update, it wasn't very good for me :f_ugly: Despite the fact that Spain is one of my favorite countries, I just can't get even a mincash in any of the events I have ever played :f_biggrin: Maybe just the variance, or maybe local guys are really good. Probably the case of both :f_drink:
The very first hand of the Main Event set the pace for all the festival. MP opened, I flatted SB with 2♣:2♦:, Big Blind came along as well. Flop was beautiful A♣:8♠:2♦:, which was continued by the aggressor. I only called and BB decided to squeeze, which I also flatted again. Another huge bet on the Turn 7♥: was defended by me, and same happened on the River 6♣:. I was thinking if I could check/jam my set as his likely holdings are :Ax::8x:, :8x: 2♠:, 2♥:2♠: or :8x::8x:, which I'm still ahead, but was very surprised when the old guy showed up with 9♥:5♥: :f_biggrin: With 2/3 stack gone on the first hand, next orbit I shoved my flush of J♥:T♥: on K♥:8♥:6♠:2♥:, got a call from K♠:K♣: but no double up as the case K♦: showed up on the River :f_o:
My 2nd bullet was much better, made to day2 with average stack of 50BB. But again the start of the Day2 was a disaster. UTG opens his 40BB stack, I defend BB with 5♠:4♠:. I call a small cbet on Q♣:8♣:5♦: and get a nice Turn of 4♦:. Facing another small cbet I make a big raise, and then my opponent ships all the chips in the middle. I know under GTO I should be calling here 100% of the time, but my instincts on that hand was that he has more sets than overpairs, Top Pairs or flushdraws. I tanked couple of minutes but couldn't find a fold - opponent had me crushed with set of queens. With 10BB left, I jam A♣:Q♥: on the Cutoff, only to run into Big blinds Kings. There was a hope when I turned the Nut straight, but the River brought 4 card flush to opponent :f_eek:

With no luck in My Event, I went to the cashier to register for Side Events. Little did I know, that there is already a 2 hour waiting list and due to limited available tables, we play 10 handed. Soon I got dealt A♣:A♦:, get all the chips in the middle against J♠:J♣:, but already the first card of J♦: in the window send me again to the waiting list. This time I 3bet jammed my 15BB stack with A♣:J♣: but run into A♠:Q♦: with no help. Another bullet next day identical situation of A♣:J♥:<A♠:Q♦: againt a drunk maniac who plays 80% PRF and the hand before made a 3bet with 92o :f_ugly:

So no birthday presents in Spain, but got couple of them online yesterday :f_drink:

The First one is a Seat for London event, but the other one is much more appealing - Full package to Cyprus, worth of 5k. First I won a qualifier from 55$ to 550$, and then conquered a small field of 11 players. I've been only once in Cyprus with my wife, and she always asks me when we come back. Well, hers wish finally came truth :f_love:
