Im definatelly cheking.See very little reason to bet with our hand on such bad card.That is mostly because I dont see 2 streets of value vs any oponents and fact that he is unknown makes it just worse. The only worse hand that he might wanna call down is worse 7x but out of his whole range that is not really much. So if we cant valuebet him then betting would only be for protection but which hands is he going to fold that he called on the flop?!? All gutshots got there and now have at least a pair,flush came in and if he has like Ahigh we really dont want him to fold.
So checking seems clearly best to me... question is what to do when he bets... I think if you just c/f is totally fine as such close spots on uber micro limits dont really matter and its often better just to go for the safe lines and exploit easier spots. C/f can hardly be much in a wrong anyway...but...
...if you feel like playing for small edges I think c/c is better.Thing is that we still beat a decent amount of what he called on the flop and he can easily just bet anything here.And if behind we still have outs!...hands that we beat are 7x,small pockets,Ahigh and some SDs like KJ,K9,... Getting 1:4 its close but I would call it at least once more then reevaluate on the river. If river is A I would donk,if river is 7 then I would c/r!!! If river is any other at least remotely ugly card I would c/f (diamond,6,9,K,J) and if it is blank I call.
If he then shows you monster(Qx+)or good busted draw like KJ nothing can be learned about him since everybody would do it.
If he shows you Tx you are slightly unhappy as bad players would not always bet this here but obviously its an easy bet for him.
If he shows you 8x you are really unhappy and that is the downside of playing for small edges.You dont want to be thin valueplayed and in future you will not be inclde to make thin calldowns and turn c/f becomes prefferable in spots like this.
If he shows you Ax,small pocket he can either be good(unlikely) or is just stupid and he bets anything when you check to him and that is the upside of playing this line since you earned much much more than you should
...all these examples are when he bets river and you call.

its really bad for you, and the pot its small so you could just c/f and if its checked behind you could bet on a river blank.
