FLOP: checked with the plan to x/r, but since the fish donked, and presumably another fish - BTN - raised, decided to just call, and leave the possible fishes in the pot with much worse hands/draws. As well as I'm already behind vs better sets, and 79, if fishes has it, so I don't see much reason to 3bet here, cause the only worse hands that are calling are probably just premium overpairs, but even they can find a fold here sometimes, as well as Im wayyy ahead of them anyway, and there are a lot of good turn cards to still get moneys in vs them. I block 56 and 58, so just 68 left, but still I can get money in on a lot of turns anyway vs this, and also I think If I 3bet this flop, even 87, 67 can find a fold, so ... I think a call is best here in this particular situation vs two fish, and just hoping not to see 7 or a 9 on turn. Pretty much everything else is in my favor. So don't see the reason to 3bet flop and scare them off.
TURN: turn the relative nuts here, if I'm already beat, then I'm beat, nothing I can do about it here anyway I think, so decided to play it passively till river, and see what others will do. And since the action continues, I go with my passive plan, and just call. And I think it is quite good not to just shove here, leaving myself that 1.65 behind, cause the fish might not notice that im committed anyway, and if I shove, my bet LOOKS a bit bigger to him, and he even might fold something [it is hard to predict how fish plays, but I've really seen quite enough of ridiculous folds from them once in a while], so since I just call, he gets even nicer odds [ he probably doesn't notice that either, but still sees that he has to "put in" just "a FEW bucks" anyway], and are more likely to call with a worse hand.
And now river is just completely awful, if I'm beat, I'm beat, nothing I can do, but the fish still can call worse, since it is just 1.65 into 26, so I think there's no reason to check here, and leave myself this amount behind, is there ?
So given this unique spot vs 2 fishes, I think I played the hand kinda "optimally". But would be interested to hear anyway, WHY do you think I played it bad ?
