Hello, here's a story about one Estonian FL player called Taavi, that is, me.

It all started on May 30, 2009 8:40 PM ET when I recieved my free starting capital at Full Tilt. (No, wait, it started from my school, where poker suddenly became extremely popular. It doesn't matter, anyway.)

At first, I thought the strategy needed to pass the test was not worth following, so I played "my own style" at FL FR 0.1/0.2 tables. Had some fun, until I suddenly found my BR on $32 or something.

Then I downl... erm... found from street Phil Hellmuth's book "Play Poker Like The Pros". Read the FL part and loved it. Started to follow his strategy and managed to win some of my money back. I still didn't believe in PokerStrategy's articles, don't know, why.

My bankroll started to grow, mostly because of the First Deposit Bonus. I found multitabling, started to believe in PS, spent more and more hours playing poker. Slowly (wasted lots due to bad play and MTTs) built my BR over $100.

When I got 18, erm... I mean 19, I decided to withdraw the minimum, $100 to buy drinks for my birthday party, cause I thought I wouldn't get enough money for it any other way. Grr... bad decision. Still have that withdrawal on my bank account, haven't used any cent of it.

Now I had about $4 and 1400 FTPs left at Full Tilt. Tried some FTP satellites, lost half of the points. Tried some SSS, lost the $4 (and started to hate SSS). In this miserable situation, taavi1337, poker addict, had only chance. He made a minimum deposit to Full Tilt, $30.

Thanks to my excellent play (no need to laugh) I made it to $160 in one month, moved up a limit to 0.25/0.50 FL FR, recieved Biggest Bonus Ever and some rakeback, so my BR was $209. In one week, I managed to do this (excluding $14 untracked winnings)

so my current bankroll is $145 and I have moved back to 0.1/0.2. No tilting, just some bad luck and some mistakes. Mostly bad luck, I think. Still quite happy - remember the withdrawn $70 profit and the fact that I have grown my $30 to $145.

Hope you liked my first post. Sorry about my bad English.
(By the way, I'm playing at four tables while writing this. I shouldn't do that, right?? :D )

      Thank you very much!

Ok, today I revieced rakeback for about $12, so I was able to move back to 0.25/0.50 with my $154. But soon I found myself on $142 again. Now I had some very good luck at 0.1/0.2 and earned $8.31 with 192 hands (21.64 BB/100).

      Current BR: $150.55

I'll make a little break now, but tonight I'll be grinding 0.25/0.50 again. Let's see if I manage to survive at 0.25/0.50! :D

Hi, TerrorBlade! My account is taavi1337 and I have never been in any coachings. But I have watched your videos, they have helped me a lot. Lol at TupeTaavi, it means "Taavi of Pussy" in Estonian. xD

About my last night's play, I was finally able to win something.

You should fold that AK hand on a turn.

AA: I think it's too dangerous flop to just call here, so you should raise flop.

That's a rather ugly spot on the turn there. I would play it the same, but I'd seriously not appreciate the moment where BU and MP2 are calling!!

By the way: 85 BB in 300 hands is crazy :s_biggrin:
