both unknowns
after a raise with no callers i usually just flat but with one caller i think it would be a bit weak and loosing value. So i decided to squeeze. the problem is that i was totally confused abt the 3bet size so i chose the easiest option (obv being aware that its probably not the best one). should i raise to ~360 instead? is that a r/c or r/f (i guess the latter wouldn't make much sense against unknowns/fish but id definitelly consider folding to a push from a reg)? what if my 3bet gets flatted by one or even both and i don't hit (i know this question is pretty stupid
)? being oop sucks a lot in that spot. if i cbet (against one) and encounter resistance i'm not yet commited but severly crippled... i guess thats why i decided to shove directly to avoid difficult decisions (altough i'm pretty sure thats not the play that generates the maximum value). i guess our ability to play post flop doesn't even matter much in that spot because of the huge pot compared to the stacks so the preflop decision shouldn't be based solely on our confidence postflop.
what abt flatting (after all its just two oponents so we shoudn't be much worried abt the need to protect) to continue only if we hit? maybe its not so bad/weak after all, especially when oop?
i see pros and cons in all of those three lines (shove, 3bet 360, flat) and i really don't see which one is clearly the best in the given situation...
i think id lean towards my original decision here, and would 3bet (flat?) if we were ip - what do you guys think?
last thing - do u ever give unknowns credit for a strong hand when they raise from an early position or you totally don't take that into consideretion?
