What would you guys do if you staked someone on PS and they stole your money?
Person in question continues to be an active member of PS, replying to posts and adding friends, he just ignores all contact from me in particular.
Should I just post in the stake feedback thread and leave it at that? Or is there something further I can/should do?
Well basically, expose the pr1ck and others will make sure that they avoid dealing with him
apart from that I'm not sure, hope it wasnt a lot of $$$
Yeah should deffinately expose to save others from being bumped. I think PS should do something to like kick those types out

if that guy is not from pokerstrategy or other site I gues nothing you can do just to report him to other stakers so they wouldn't stake him.

Tbh, I'm not too concerned about the actual $, I just feel saddened by the blatant thievery. Who can you really trust these days? You try to help someone and this is how you get repaid.

On the serious note, I never quite understood the point of staking. Good players can build their bankroll from the scratch and bad players, well... Why would anybody want to stake a bad player.
Anyways, who was it? Or should we make a poll before you tell us..

By his last posts one would have to assume that we are dealing with a complete douche here.

You are probably correct. I was also aware of this beforehand and possibly should have used it as a reason not to provide a stake.
The reason I still chose to stake him was the fact that he had 100+ posts, he runs a blog in the Romanian section of PS, he supposedly has a good looking graph, and he has a picture in his profile (probably a minor +). In other words, he didn't look like a guy who had come to the site purely to run a scam, and the amount of money we are talking here, it would be barely worth his time.
I think I will definitely refuse to stake anyone with "douche-like" posts in the future, even if they tick other boxes. Unfortunately I have a feeling this might rule out 90% of pokerstrategy, myself included.

Yes, maybe it was bad judgement on my part.
Still, thievery is thievery, and it's that which bugs me more than the $ invested/lost which is simply just a risk/reward issue.
