Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP2$10.00:///////;MP3$4.62:///////;CO$10.13:///////;BU (Hero)$3.85:///////;SB$7.20:///////;BB$10.00:///////;UTG2$9.19:///////;MP1$11.27:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with Q:c, Q:h.
4 folds, CO raises to $1.00, Hero raises to $3.85(All-In), 2 folds, CO calls $2.85.

Flop: ($7.85) 4:d, T:c, 3:d (2 players)

Turn: ($7.85) 2:d (2 players)

River: ($7.85) A:c (2 players)

Final Pot: $7.85.

Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of queens(Qc Qh).
CO shows a pair of kings(Kd Kh).

CO wins with a pair of kings(Kd Kh).

Villain stats in 27 hands :
33(vpip)/4(pfr)/0(f3bet)/25(steal)
-/-/60(wtsd)/0.6(af)

There are 2 kind of people who raise bigger than normal. The maniacs who raise random cards and the elephants who raise the monsters. What would you do in this situation? I judged it as a steal and was happy to go allin. My only thought was if I should call and shove asap or raise allin.

Hey Badea,

Villains who make such moves are obviously fish and with QQ against a fish your only goal is to bet/raise for value. Nice shove preflop, well played.

You can make a read he made this move with KK, but I am fairly sure he will do the same with TT/AQ/AJ... ...with a range you crush with your QQ.

Best regards,
