3 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, SB raises to $0.36, BB folds, Hero calls $0.24.

Flop: ($0.76) K:c, 7:s, 8:d (2 players)
SB bets $0.48, Hero raises to $1.80, SB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $1.24.

opp is a reg, 1st time he 3-bets
-I wanted my raise to look like a bluff, but it's probably too big
-why I don't just to call down:
a) if he checks turn I have to check behind to get value river
b) although it's not likely that he makes his 2P, I'm afraid of it

please help me with my paranoia=)

Hello lukezo,

The problem with raising is:
a) You don't let worse hands to continue, like smaller PPs/pairs.
b) You don't let him to continue with bluffs/semi-bluffs.

So therefore I'd just Call and reevaluate my actions postflop. It's not that likely anyways that he his his 2pairs. For example:

Board: K♣7♠8♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
UTG    12.73%  12.12%   0.61% { KQo }
UTG+1  87.27%  86.67%   0.61% { AcKs }

As you see he has pretty horrible equity. Although as we add a lot of smaller PPs in his range you basically wont get value from them if you raise.
