Cassava Poker $0.50/$1 Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

UTG posts a big blind (1 SB)

Pre Flop: (2.5 SB) Hero is BTN with T :diamond: T :spade:
UTG checks, CO calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, UTG calls, CO calls

Flop: (7.5 SB) A :diamond: 8  2 :spade: (3 players)
UTG checks, CO bets, Hero calls, UTG calls

Turn: (5.25 BB) 9  (3 players)
UTG checks, CO bets, Hero calls, UTG calls

River: (8.25 BB) 7  (3 players)
UTG checks, CO checks, Hero ??

UTG: 46/0/0.5/54, 27 hands
CO: 65/19/1.5/56, 16 hands

I think it's a check back, CO could easily just be afraid of the flush with Ax and UTG sometimes has the ace as well. I don't think I have enough equity to valuebet here.

The fact that neither of them has taken an aggressive action leads me to write off a number of A-Highs from their ranges.

Add on the fact that I would expect them to donk the river with 2-pair/straight/flush a non-zero % of the time and that if we are just called there are a lot of 8's, 9's, 7's (peeling with 3 straights etc) and even 2's to get value from this leads me to think thin value bet

Given we're right at the bottom of our value range (So we can actually bet/fold and still have more than enough ahnd we're goign to bet/call), our opponents will still have a lot of hands we can get value from and the fact they're fish I don't mind betting here

i wonder if raising the flop with a decent 2nd pair is a good option. he may have small PPs like 66, 8x, or Ax. When we're ahead my guess is that the UTG range will only average like an overcard and ~15% equity or so... but the pot is getting pretty large and having him fold out that equity may make our raise +EV

on the river i'd just bet for value. if we get raised then i really don't know whats best. I expect to see the weaker part of CO's previously mentioned range more often than stronger hands.

I missed the potential flop raise first time round

Yes I agree w/ datsmahname on that. Raising the flop here is good imo.
