Hero (BB): $200.00
UTG: $409.85
CO: $236.75
BTN: $200.00
SB: $108.35

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with Q :spade: J :club:
1 fold, CO raises to $6, 1 fold, SB calls $5, Hero calls $4

Flop: ($18.00) J :diamond: 7 :spade: 5 :diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12.00, CO calls $12, SB folds

Turn: ($42.00) 5  (2 players)
Hero bets $28.00, CO raises to $66, Hero calls $38

River: ($174.00) Q :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $152.75, Hero folds

oR is 28/23, 37% steal from CO 67% conbet 22% wts, 210 hands, fold to DB 50% (4).

SB is 27/14 over 25 hands but played one table and seemed on the fishier side (that's why I called pre). 50% fold to cbet (2), called cbet once, nothing special and certinally not spewy.

On turn I'm facing a raise.
The problem is: Is this kind of player ever able to bluffraise turn?
The other problem: He represents literally nothing IMO, except some FDs turning into some strange bluff.
I also doubt he calls KK, AA on flop and raises turn with them. Or maybe he's really scared of sets 3-way.

Thoughts?

I can actually see him doing this with AJ,QQ+ since the 5:h just reduces the amount of combo's of sets from 6 to 4 (-33%) and he is ahead against flushdraws+OC

It's more about how he perceives your range 2be

I am also sure he ain't raising with flushdraws on the Turn as your line is fairly strong hence semibluff raising with flushdraws and potentially getting pushed out of his equity share is not the most comfortable thing in the world

I think this hand shows why I don't like the call pre.

If SB is a fish you could sqz to get CO to fold and play IP vs fish. Another option is to just fold the hand. QJo isn't great 3 way.

What was your plan on a blank river?

I can't really decide whether he has Aj,QQ+ or FDs. He could potentially have both.

Your perceived range is not that strong imo.
You don't have QQ+ or strong J that you would sqz pre. So you have weak J, FD or sets. And since the turn decreases the amount of sets that you can have I can see him taking the initiative with his FDs.

In the end I would probably play like you post flop and would call a blank river but I hate it.

Bottom line to me: fold or sqz pre

Yeah I know it's very marginal call pre but I felt I got some postflop advantage vs them, yeah sqz is better but I was playing very aggro pre and was afraid of fish just pushing over with any Ax or sth.
Dublimax, yeah, that was my plan on river.
Gerv: Even without another 5 there are still a lot more combos of FDs and Jx he can get value from by raising, from fish and from me (not saying that I would call ofc).
Right now I'm thinking about 3-betting his raise on turn and getting it in, don't know why I haven't thought of it.
Would suck if he plays 77 this way though.

I pretty much agree with Dublimax.

The problem is, that there is basically not a single flop we really feel comfortable on. Also it's very hard to extract value vs worse hands as it's gonna be a 3way pot and we have TP medium kicker at best.

Well if you can neither call +EV nor squeeze +EV, then it's a fold. Notice that in this case you have to adapt your overall-range, f.e. if the opponent shoves all Ax then you could squeeze/call smth like A9+ or AT+.

As played I'd lead out for 16 on the flop.
On the turn I agree with Gerv, our range looks like sets, TPs and maybe NFDs. Overall I don't think he's bluffing or even semibluffing against this range because it looks so strong. Therefore this raise is most likely for value (AJ at least imo) and I'm b/folding turn.
