Flop: ($0.8) 2:d, Q:c, A:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50.

Turn: ($1.8) 8:d (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BB calls $1.20.

River: ($4.2) 5:s (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks.

Final Pot: $4.2.

Results follow:

BB shows a pair of queens(Qh Ts).
Hero shows a pair of jacks(Jh Jd).

BB wins with a pair of queens(Qh Ts).

Stats: 62/8 in 13 hands

I 2nd barrel because I think he may fold Qx because of the A on the flop, and he may also have some gutshots and gutshot + FD. Besides I have a FD, so still probably have 11 outs.

Hello Tosh5457,

Well, I doubt that a station would even fold Qx. Although your thoughts are correct. But the only reason why I would rather consider just Checking here is that even a draw completed. Plus of course Ax is in his range as well. Those stations are passive anyways and he wouldn't bet the turn without having a strong hand.

Usually I don't try to overplay those stations while we can't be sure what we are able to make them to fold. Rather save the money. :)

Best regards.
