Well played! You definitely can't fold to a turnraise, there are so many draws. He could try to rebluff you with QJ, clubs or diamonds (and both bust on the river!). He could also have K5s, maybe even JJ-QQ.

3betting would be overplayed, I call down as well (expecting to lose obv). The pot is big. Seems like a standard example of good solid poker. He'd probably play the same if he were in your shoes.
