U have to learn how our brain works before u say variance and "im so unlucky". The think is our brain remember bad moments 2x better or stronger then good moments. As in poker u just dont remember spots when u got lucky. If u understand this u will never tilt ar smt.And another think thats good to remember - your "downswing" ends after each of hand, so dont worry, next time YOU GET LUCKY not opp.

Secondly as long as u get ur chips in good while playing ur A game that's all u can do. After that the dealer gets to do his work. Sometimes the dealers work is not liked by all. The key things here are:
-playing ur A game
-feel good about the situation ur A game brought u to

Rewind to the flop in the moment, you should of asked yourself ( even with notes on that player ) do i wish to risk my whole tourny life here ! or just wait for a better spot & board.

Folding, is just as much a part of poker as is calling, betting & raising.

A min raise ? caution alarm bells, then a HUGE over bet.

I felt a bit bad for ragging on the OP earlier, so I plugged his hand into Equilab.
on the flop against any 22, QQ+ and any two hearts, OP is only 63:37.

In the absence of good reads on SB's aggression -- or notes on his post-flop play -- or other non-card information, this is time to take a note and move on.

We also don't know what type of tournament this is.
If is a 9-man SnG we're a long way from push/fold.
The big stack is bullying because he can.

Even so, if SB had pushed, ICM trainer says KQs is a good call.
But why risk EVERYTHING on a 1.7 : 1 gamble?

When you are playing for the entire tournament, you must take this attitude with you to the table:
I shove these chips into the middle, happy to either win or lose.

Yea its a cash game dude, all over the world people buyin into 200/400 with 6000 bones or less to reduce the variance.

Sorry but this answer is bullshit. Of course we want to risk our whole tournament life getting it in vs draws that aren't favourite against us. Are you saying we only want to get it in with 100% equity, because that doesn't happen very often. Your logic is the same as saying we shouldn't get it in with AA preflop because "Do we really want to risk our tournament life with only 80% equity?".

That being said, get used to it OP, bad beats happen so just get over it.
