Hi,

i haven't observed many hands from villain, however the 1st impression was he's solid. After the flop raise i have 1.83$ left, final pot would be ~4.70$, so i need 39% Eq to call/push. Given the analysis below, the fold seems fine, doesn't it?

www.pokerstrategy.com
Board: 7h6h3s
Equity Win Tie
BU 34.82% 34.17% 0.65% { 3h3c }
SB 65.18% 64.53% 0.65% { 77-66, 76s, 54s }

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.02(BB) Replayer
SB ($4.47) [ 14 / 10 / 20 WtSD (100h)]
BB ($1.70)
UTG ($1.51)
UTG+1 ($5.36)
CO ($1.18)
Hero ($2.29)

Dealt to Hero 3♥ 3♣

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.05, BB calls $0.04

FLOP ($0.18) 3♠ 6♥ 7♥

SB checks, BB bets $0.08, Hero raises to $0.40, SB raises to $1.02, BB folds, Hero folds

Hey HughJazz!

Why don't you include overpairs to villians range? I think that in lower limits people are happy to push AI with an overpair postflop.

Board: 3♠6♥7♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    75.08%  74.43%   0.65% { 3h3c }
MP3    24.92%  24.27%   0.65% { 66+, 76s, 54s }

I think that folding is too weak in this spot, but I'm not an expert... :coolface:

You're raising with 33 to hit a set. But you fold when you a Set.

Very weak imo.

He could have many Overpairs, connectors, siuted cards, two pair. He could have the cards you explained, but for $0.60 more, you have to be callin this. You'll win more often than not.

Out of interest, what boards would you have been happy to get it in on? :rolleyes:

Thats my view anyway :]

Hello HughJazz82,

Why do you open-raise 3x? And if you do open such hands then I am never planning to fold there while people may easily even overplay overpair and of course 2pairs etc type of hands. I am going broke.

Best Regards.
