poker in London?

ive been playing in the empire recently. they only usually have 1-2 running but the games are soft

I've been checking out both the vic and fox, do I need to be a member to enter? I'm reading Rake 10% £5 cap is that not sh*t loads for a NL200 game?

very different than online, open raises are sometimes 6X.. 3X it and everyone calls with any 2 suited cards etc..

membership was free, and I joined and played right away. waiting time for the one table at the lowest limit was about an hour when I played. I probably wouldn't go again, only because of BRM. If I have a spare 10k maybe I'll try it again.

I´m heading for London in end of june/beginning of july. Do u know any any places u can recommend for tourneys and cg (not highstake).

For tournaments the Fox Poker Club is the best by far imo, in terms of field size + structure.

You do get a few more regs, but they're lol-liveregs.

For cash, I'd say The Empire has the softest games but the lowest stakes are NL200.

The Vic and The Fox both run NL100 and higher.

Im thinking to play @ Genting Casino Cromwell Mint, good place or some other place you can recommend.

I have only ever played in the fox which is now closed. I did try to play cash at the empire but there was a waiting list so I went and got drunk instead.

As people have said here the empire seems to be the sofest game, but I think for more variety the vic would be a good place to check out, as they have games running around the clock.

I follow the vic card room on twitter and there always seems to a decent amount of tables going.

I know thats where im heading next time im in London, I also want to check out the Hippodrome, which isnt far from where the Fox club used to be

oh and ive heard they have a real good card room in the aspers casino in stratford

I think Aspers could be profitable for cash, my main is that i want to play tourney thats why im thinking of head at the mint. thinking of heading for victoria casino afterwards for cashgame perhaps. I live at Tottenham Court so i dont want to go all over London, thats probably why i skip Asper.
