Yeah, MTTs can be horribly timeconsuming and far more dangerous to play too many tables on when you do make a really deep run and need increased focus.

Having a good plan and structure is definitely a good start, let's hope you can stick to it and come out the end of the 15 day period with boosted confidence to crush higher again!

I am studying economics: Corporate and international business. I'm in my 3rd year, and I have 2 exams (International banking; Financial business analysis) at the end of June and two more in mid July (Financial management; Economics in international trading).

My line of thought here is

PF: I didn't 3 bet since I had a very high 3 bet stat on that table and regs were starting to 4 bet and call my 3 bets so i didn't wanna play 3 bet pot with TT OOP.

F: I donk bet to extract value from 66 , 77, 88, and 99. and all the FDs and SDs. If I face aggression from regs i will call a raise on the flop and reevaluate on the turn. If a fish raises me i will reraise him all in since there are so many draws and a few overpairs I beat.

T: when fish calls on the flop his range is usually all overpairs up to 99, FDs, SDs, 5x and 4x so I think a 2nd barrel is a standard play here and his calling range is the same as on the flop.

R: A 2nd ace hits on the river so I don't think I can extract any more value here by betting so I check it down looking for a bluff induce./When he shoves i really much doubt its ever gonna be 5x or 4x so unless he had a FD with an ace he is pretty much bluffing with all his missed draws given his high river bet stat.

Still wondering if it was + EV to call a shove.

Always hard to know with fish, as they don't think like we do..

I've often been told "Ah, there's your problem, you are projecting how YOU would think onto others who almost certainly do not." when I complain things like "I repped it perfectly, how the hell can he call down there?!". I tend to struggle getting out of that mindset when it comes to putting fish on things.

I hit the 5k mark yesterday. Yay

Not really satisfied with the way I played. Made a few very unnecessary spazzy plays which have cost me at least 2 buy ins. Anyway I am satisfied in a sense that I learned a lot from yesterdays mistakes and I plan to implement some adjustments starting today.

I noticed when I played for 4 hours straight (with 5 min breaks each hour), I made most of my mistakes during forth hour of play and later that day during my 3rd hour of play. Also I noticed I made some impulsive decisions which relied more on intuition than on logic and I think the reason for that was a number of tables I had opened at the moment. I really think that when I am 8 tabling I am moving away from my comfort zone. I also noticed my 3 bet stat drops down a lot when I have 8 tables on instead 6 and that I make more technical errors (such as 3 betting short stacks without looking at stack sizes etc.)

So the adjustments I decided to make are:

*Play no more than 7 tables at a time
*Play sessions no longer than 3 hours with 5 min breaks each hour

Yesterday was a very turbulent session
Finished it nicely but could have done better

winnings = 50.34$
Reload bonus = 20$
Rakback equivalent = 11T$

Total winnings = 81$

I ended up posting that hand for evaluation and the correct play was to blockbet then river. Also I was adviced to bet bigger on the flop and turn. And you are absolutely right fruktpuff I need to stop doing that since it can become a serious leak overtime.

I had 2 pretty crazy poker days.

The day before yesterday I played. 4.5k hands. This was largely due to playing less tables as I have decided to do so. During those 4.5 k hands in the first 1k hands I had 5bi downswing. "No worries" I thought, and I steadily started to grind back and endexd up being break even for the end of 2.5 k session. Later that night I started to grind again and for a while there were no big pots or anything I was up maybe a half bi or so when it started with me hitting a full house on board.
