Flop: (4.5 SB) 3 :spade: 6  7  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: (2.25 BB) 8 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets, BTN calls

River: (4.25 BB) A :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets, Hero folds

39o @ BB coldcall vs 3-bet SB vs UTG

x/c 4way TPGK, Turn donk/cd
3way donk 3rdPair2ndKicker
3way Raise 2ndPair2ndKicker, Turn b/cd

IP HU Turn raise w/ nutfsdraw 1card

Planned to x/r this flop, after his xback i see too much overcards in his range to not bet turn. After A hits on River i just dont see myself too much ahead, probably i got bluffed out by some hands type of KT/KQ etc.

??

I like your plan. This is a typical flop for a checkraise because has missed very often and since you would also checkraise a lot of draws like 89 T9, x4 , Flushdraw etc, you should also liberally checkraise with each pair, no matter the position where he'd opened from. Turn is standard bet. 8 won't have helped him and on the River i would actually play check/call because as you already mentioned. He might have checked back with Q9 QT KJ KT KQ and called on his Outs and with a little hope of winning the hand as you might check / fold River ui, expecting to get called.

Very good that you posted reads about your opponent but they don't specifically fit to this scenario. It doesn't give me a with which kinds of hands he likes to check back the flop. And i would assume that he does at least with a few Ax hands like AK AJ AQ, the big Ax and is rather checking back with A2 A4 A5 A9 maybe AT so by determining that he probably would bet some Ax type of hands and he could be bluffing with Q9 QT K9 etc, he should have a bluff in more than 1 out of 6,25 times. Your odds to call to make this call at least breakeven.

Of course with a read that he does even check back with AK and you've never seen him checking with KJ QT etc, you can fold but with no information i do c/c. Too many potential bluffingcombos.

I do believe if i say that on this stakes is big rotation of players and everytime i meet new ones, and thats all read what i got, you will believe me in that.

So I just post reads which i have, beacuse they can or they wont, give some clues about villains behavior.
