[FR] AA check-raise marathon

This is the ugly side of FLHE, getting battered postflop in a massive pot by two or more aggressive players. Trapped between a bettor and a raiser with this kind of hand is a tough spot. One way to reduce the chance of being in this spot is to keep the rly aggressive/spewy players on your right.

On to the hand: Preflop is good. cap for value multiway.

Flop is great. b/3! when MP call/caps we're getting worried.

When we hit the turn we really need to know a good amount about our opponents. Based on your post, we know nothing. All options can be played with the right info.

Without any info at all I think we should lead right out on the turn. There are so many draws and seeing this board checked through would be quite bad for us. However, once the BU bets I would actually raise. MP1 capped the flop but now he represents an overcard+draw combo.

As played we're getting 17.7:1 with perhaps 2BB implied odds... our RIO on a calldown is roughly 2.5BB so if we're ahead approx. 2.5/20 = 12.5% of the time then we can look to show this down. Again info is key. It might be a fold, but its hard to determine exactly where folding is correct when we're being faced with what looks like "just one bet"...

The river action is very ugly. MP1 may know that BU always bets and he's abusing that to trap you. If this play continues (trapping raises for value, shut out raises with air) then at the very least we should not keep our seat. Intentional or not, its a tough spot to be in.

Flopplay is fine but once Mp1 recognized that he won't win this hand unimproved i don't think he's going to cap a draw that often. Just a monterdraw like J8 QJ KJ etc but he does more often have 9x J9 Q9 K9 97 96 T9 than he's got a draw and first call and then cap is a slowplay with a monster. IF you compare the combos of 9x and strong draws you'll recognize that 9x combos are numerically favourite over the draws and so i 'd just proceed passively and calling down. I didn't see the result , i swear

Buttons unreasonable play dragged you in. deeper as intended.

But on lowstakes against unknown players i don't see a chance to lay this hand down although he must have a better hand than you but your odds are too good and the chance that he overplayed something is just too big to justify a tough laydown there.
