CO: $26.96
Hero (BTN): $33.49

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has A♠ 8♦ T♥ 6♠

fold, CO raises to $0.70, Hero calls $0.70, fold, BB calls $0.45

Flop: ($2.20, 3 players) J♥ 5♥ 9♣
BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($2.20, 3 players) 7♦
BB bets $1.00, CO calls $1.00, Hero raises to $6.10, BB calls $5.10, fold

On the turn, I suppose I can still get value from sets and worse straights... river is ugly so I just check behind.

Depending how c/R happy SB is , you effectively play HU so you can sometimes semibluff the Flop

The Turn is fine if you potraise it
The River he checks again so I can see myself making a small valuebet here as they often donk the nuts. QT is a likely draw but KT is the nuts here & unlikely

You clearly have the best hand on the turn, I wouldn't ever worry about being freerolled here. I expect someone with a nut straight like you to bet bigger when they donk.

As for the river, well I still feel you have the best hand, anyone who had just rivered a bigger straight should really pot the river for fear of you checking it back.

I would just go ahead and shove this river, if villain folds then he will never be sure if I did have the nuts on the turn, even though he suspects it.
