Hi guy's, I couldn't find anything similar so I'll just start this.

The purpose of this thread is to post funny hands in which you clicked the wrong button, you thought you had a different had or you totally misread the whole situation.

I'll start off with this one. In this PLO2 hand is was from the turn onwards that O had the nut straight. I thought I had AKT9 more accurately. After I had bet the river I looked again and saw I only had top two pair which I had just turned into a bluff on this board. The fact that I won just proves the level of skill that is required to beat the lowest limits in PLO.

Well, it isn't a hand, but I misread a table -- or rather set my filters wrong -- and opened a 0.10/0.20 table in £ instead of $

Didn't realize my mistake until after I had blown off a stack.
CRAP!

Tough to beat folding a royal on the turn to villain's pot bet, but I mangaed to make a pretty nitty fold.
It's in 'hand of the day if you want a laugh.' :f_eek:

-I have called smallish river bets multiple times in live poker thinking I have one hand when I had another similar hand.
-I have folded Aces pre many times when masstables. Still always get the "dope you are a retart" feeling tho.

So the other day I reinstall my poker client and forget to turn on "four colour deck". I open one NL400 table to go with other stuff that I'm currently doing and resize it to min. First hand I'm dealt Q♥9♦ on the BB but it's all red to me. BTN raises to 12$, SB calls and I call.

The flop comes K♣6♥3♥. I donk 27$, he raises to 95$ and I shove all in. He thinks for a bit and calls. He has KQo. The turn is a  so I'm like yeah, bebee! And then after blank the river pot starts moving aways from me. I scream and shout and try to grab the pot from the screen and then I'm like oh, right...

It happened last year (or the year before?), and it was the last time (I think), as now I check very carefully. Checked behind a straight flush because I realised my opponent wouldn't have stayed that long, with such a pot unless he obviously had the nut flush. Mine was only 9 high. He had the A-high flush. We were deep stacked. It was kind of a nice pot...

Here is a common thing. I'm inte small blind, it's folded auund to me. My shabby hand is just enough to let me try a steal. So I rasie.

The problem?
In reality, I am not in the small blind. I am in the big blind and the player under the gun has open raised.

I was sick and tired of draws completing when I had a set/straight, so I made a tilty call. I think the villain might have thought he had a straight, or he was just spazzing around :f_biggrin:

@Riverdiver,

PLO2 6 max, he had a flush draw, ergo he's all in. Standard!

Today I played for a few hundred hands and won nearly 200BB's.

I decided to cash in my money once I get to the next BB.

On my final hand I have an 8 high flush draw (87s hearts) which hits on the river and then proceed to mis-click and bet my entire 300BB stack for a massive bet. I meant to bet / fold and bet 15BB into a 25BB pot, but end off paying off a higher flush draw and throwing away over an hours solid play.

Any one else have a similar hard luck / bad play story to share?
