the same tourney, the same reg as in the previous hand
i know that standard would be to fold pre. here i thought that i have a nice enough hand to call pre being 39bb deep considering that he may be simply abusing with a wide range. Especially that imo he plays post rather honestly and pretty straightforward, though he's still better than an ABC reg. On the other hand he has a rather low 3bet vs steal (4.5% 3handed) so maybe he's not gonna be on as wide of a range as he should be. Does that make sense or should i have simply folded pre (especially that BU is a massive fish)? Or maybe that makes sense but my hand is a bit too weak for that and you'd like a r/c with QJs, JTs etc. much better?
as played - my river bluff is just silly, i know
after he checks back flop i guess we have only two options:
- give up since we know we're beat, most likely ch/folding further streets even if we hit a pair
- barrel BOTH turn and river assuming that he's gonna have hard time calling twice with whatever he checked back flopped with, especially that imo we can easily rep a strong range including a lot of Ax because of our r/c pre.
i like the second one better, you?
