don't like it. you have a bluffcatcher, you're isolating yourself against 2p+ and combodraws, if he has a FD he can profitably call F fold T as well...

Yes that's right. By raising we turn our hand into a bluff and go up against better hands. By calling we go against his entire raising range which would also consist of the extra draws.
