I think we should generally just bet. We have equity and he will fold his JJ-88 probably only on the turn. Q isn't so nice on the flop so if we didn't have the FD we should just give up but since we do I think fire away on the turn give up river unimproved. Would also suck to see an A or K on the river since when he calls turn he pretty much only has Qx and the Qx that call preflop are probably a lost of AQ and KQ combos, even if we do block these.

bet flop, bet turn, x/fold river.

88-JJ will never fold to a single bet IP on that flop, specially to a 49% bet, and these hands represents a good part of his calling range vs 3bet.

And if you are planning to call the turn isnt it better to just bet anyway?

And if you hit your flush on the river? what will you do? Leading is just awkward and too obvious. And Qx, 88-JJ will just cbh and you wont extract value from those hands.

I opt for the line bet flop/bet turn/ x-fold river if I don;t improve too.

Yeah< I thought about it :)
Yes, I understand my mistake.
At last time I have some problem with CB F in 3b Pots.

Bet F, bet T, x R sounds reasonable.
Now the question: what other hands will you play like that? Let us make it interesting. :)

If you ask about this line that I played - so it depends what type of opponents will be with me. For example if it will be agressive guy - check on Turn I can do with 88,99,TT,JJ, 7x, sometimes 5x, also this hand I think. So if I think that bet ill be for me much more expensive( because he can raise on it) - so I think check-call will be good. We can take up all his blufs or hits dro.

If the opponent will be something like "TAG". So I think check on this Turn nearly all time means: I don't have a hand. I'm give up. If I will have some reads on this opp I can play on the same opp with second or midl pair.

I played Fixed Limit some years ago. So why I have a lot of messages ;)
