Three-barreling with missed A high gutshot on paired board in NL2 deep sb vs bb

I would consider check/folding the flop. I think we don't have any fold equity on this board and we need it with the semi bluff. Aditionally, even if we hit our straight on the turn, we won't be sure that it is the best hand and would be dificult to play oop. The same counts for hitting a flushdraw on the turn. Generally, it would be a good spot for 2nd barrel, but not that good on a paired board like this one. As played, when we cbet the flop, I think we should give up the turn, even though an overcard looks like a decent barrel card. As played, we should definitelly give up the river.

I agree with Alleen86, all this 2nd barrel/3barrel, 3bet/bluff merge can he call with this/that/the other/ is virtually irrelevant at nl2. Value is key here, don't be getting busy if you don't know it will/might work and that takes a lot of hands info. Unknown - cbet = fine, then give it up.
Just because hero raises doesn't mean he has to 'Tell the story' for the whole hand and get married to it. Why? Because the villain at nl2 isn't listening...

After villain cold calls, his range is mainly PPs and maybe some SCs. On this lowest board none of the above is folding, so you cannot bet for value and you do not have fold equity.

I would give up on the river. We have some showdown value and would hope it will go check / check.

Betting turn and river is a waste of money.

Wouldn´t you agree that on the river 88-44 would consider folding? As well as some A high fds that beat us? Don´t misunderstand me, as said above, I also believe giving up on the turn is better, I am just not sure if the river bet is so terrible once I get in this spot.

Ok, if we take 88-44 out of his range after he calls turn, then it doesn´t make sense to bet river. The only hands left he would fold are better fds.

If cbet that flop but I will make it smaller, like 16 cents, but on that turn I tend to give up.
